Welcome Hello and welcome to our summer brochure. We’re thrilled to have a diverse range of shows for you to enjoy over the coming months, from monstrous family fun with The Gruffalo, to critically acclaimed Steve Harley Acoustic Band, a raucous night out with Housewives On Holiday and renowned contemporary Scottish band Skerryvore. We’re also thrilled to welcome back the multi-award winning, international hit Trainspotting Live in September for an immersive experience you won’t forget! Project M Project M for ages 12 to 19 is now well underway and provides a weekly opportunity for budding musicians, poets and lyricists to test material in a safe environment with music pros Mr. Shay and Strizzy Strauss. Running weekly every Thursday between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, this project is shaped by the young people who take part: Project M - your project, your space. Our Get Involved programme welcomes children, families and people of all ages to join in with our wide range of creative sessions and projects. We also have some interactive, digital workshops accessible to all.
Schools Partnerships Through our partnership programme with schools and colleges, we can create a bespoke range of creative workshops, projects and activities to support all areas of the curriculum, wellbeing and after school activities alongside discounted rates for shows and performances. We can support with Arts Award and GCSE Drama practical assessments as well as arranging theatre visits to learn about all aspects of working life and careers in the arts and theatre. Bursaries With thanks to the generosity of both the Travers Foundation and the Margaret Giffen Charitable Trust, we are able to offer our Core Create and Sparks sessions at a reduced fee of £50 (usually £80) and our Core Comedians course at just £30 for a 6 week course. We are also offering a sibling discount so if you have two siblings taking part in activities, the termly fee for the second child/young person would only be £25. For families living with financial hardship, we would not want the termly fees to prevent your child or young person being able to take part so, with thanks to the Margaret Giffen Community Fund, we have a limited amount of free, bursary funded places. Sesssions start Wed 11 May 6.15pm-7.15pm Ages 12-18 Professional comedians run our weekly sessions with young people, supporting them to develop, write, create and perform new comedy material including stand-up comedy and sketches. Transaction Fee
We charge a £1.50 per-transaction fee for telephone and website bookings of £15 and over, does not apply in person or to Friends, Groups and Disabled Patrons. As ticket revenue is divided between many different parties, an increase in ticket prices may not necessarily benefit The Core. By adding a small transaction charge, we ensure that every penny of this goes to your local venue and the projects we run with local communities and young people.
Returns And Exchanges
We want to reassure you that our policy for refunds and exchanges has been amended to support the guidelines for Covid-19. If a show is cancelled, you will be able to choose a refund, exchange or credit note for the value of your tickets. If you are unable to attend due to symptoms of COVID or have been asked to self-isolating by NHS Test & Trace you will be able to get an exchange or credit for the value of your tickets.

Access The Core at Corby Cube is an accessible venue. The lifts from ground floor to all levels of the auditorium are at reduced capacity so are reserved for use by those with access needs. Spaces for wheelchairs are available together with adjacent seats in the auditoria for companions or carers. Parking for Blue Badge holders is available adjacent to Corby Cube. Guide Dogs are welcome. There is an induction loop or wireless hard of hearing system for all performances. Wireless headsets are available by request when you get your tickets scanned upon entry. If you have not done so yet, please register with our free Access Scheme. This community celebration showcases the rich history of Corby and the Pole Fair, including local traditions of pealing bells, dawn charter readings, stocks, stang, ox roast, greasy pole as well as spectacular floral gateways to the village.
