Work with choreographer and vocal coach Phia O’Keeffe to develop your singing, dancing and acting skills as you weave musical numbers into a showcase performance for July’s Core Producers Festival.
This exciting, lively and fun youth theatre, led by theatre‑maker Emma Boulton‑Roe, encourages young people aged 8 to 11 to bring their imaginations to life, creating original scenes to share with family and friends at July’s Core Producers Festival.
B-Boys and B-Girls, show your moves and learn new techniques in this high energy dance class combining street and contemporary styles. Whether you’re a confident dancer or it’s your first time, work with choreographer Leah Waterfield to develop an original performance for Big Dance 2014.

How do you outwit a Twit? Mr. and Mrs. Twit are the smelliest, ugliest people in the world. They hate everything - except playing mean jokes on each other. Come and join the fun as we recreate one of Roald Dahl’s much loved stories with The Core’s Lisa Byrne and perform it to your friends and family at the end of the week.
Make an original film in just four days in this award-winning project with professional film‑maker Martin Steed. Make new friends and learn all the skills you need to script, shoot, edit and bring your idea to The Core’s big screen.
Join Sophie on her adventure with Big Friendly Giant to stop the other giants gobbling up all the children in this summer’s Play In A Week. Have lots of fun and make new friends as you work with The Core’s Lisa Byrne and perform it to your friends and family at the end of the week.

Core Dancers are choreographed by Martin Lawrance of Richard Alston Dance Company, while Core Actors collaborate with a company from Mumbai, India.
India’s Bread n Butter Entertainment – a company of actors, dancers, musicians and comedians – headline an evening of inspirational new drama, direct from pioneering international theatre festival, Contacting The World. Part of Core Producers Festival 2014.
Two exciting, original dramas created by Wadzanai with Kuumba Nia Arts, and Tribes Youth Club with Aga SerugoLugo. Priority gives young people the chance to design their own project and choose the artists they want to make it with them. Part of Core Producers Festival 2014.

These informal sessions for toddlers and their adults involve song, rhyme and stories to capture little ones’ imaginations while helping with their language development.
