Spring 2020

Welcome This February, The Core, along with our co-producers Made in Corby and Artreach, will light up Corby town centre with an array of exciting lighting installations and performances with Grow Festival 2020. The incredible Heliosphere will make its way through the town centre on Sat 8 February. From Tue 4 to Sat 8 February, the Theatre will host Luke Jerram’s Museum Of The Moon, a 7m wide scale model of the moon itself, so close you could almost touch it. Across the Theatre and the Lab we have a huge range of comedians this Spring with something to tickle everyone. Watch out for Ed Byrne, Lou Sanders, Simon Brodkin (AKA Lee Nelson), Sam Avery, Jarlath Regan and Glasgow’s own Janey Godley. We have comedy suitable for the whole family as well, with the hilarious Blue Planet by Luke Rollason, Spontaneous Potter Kidz and our own young comedians present Bangers & Mash Comedy Club. If folk music is more your thing, we are delighted to welcome Coleraine born Damien O’Kane and band with his traditional, Irish sound to the intimate setting of the Torchlight Acoustic Sessions in February followed in March by a true rising star in Iona Lane. Following on from Carword in April, we also continue to focus on theatre making with local people and are delighted to be working with the Regional Theatre Young Directors Scheme to run an Introduction To Directing Programme. We are looking for people from Corby who are interested in becoming a theatre director, with the course offering you the chance to gain the skills and experience required to direct your own work for the Lab stage. With so much to see and do this season at The Core, call in and say hello. Joe Flavin, Director

Transaction Fee

We charge a £1.50 per-transaction fee for telephone and website bookings of £15 and over, does not apply in person or to Friends, Groups and Disabled Patrons. There is a £1 fee applicable to post your tickets to a UK address. We recommend that we do not post any tickets booked within seven days of the performance date, and instead will hold them at the Ticket Office for collection.

We are unable to exchange or refund tickets. Ticket reservations must be paid for within four days of booking. We are unable to reserve tickets without payment within seven days prior to the performance.
