Royal Exchange Theatre

The Royal Exchange Theatre is one of the UKs leading producing theatres. We place new writing and the development of talent at the heart of our work and attract some of the most original artists and theatre makers to present high quality classic plays and new writing to entertain, provoke and inspire. We are home to two performance spaces in our iconic building in the heart of Manchester: a unique 750-seat glass and steel in-the-round theatre and a 100-seat flexible studio space. We produce up to twelve shows a year, some of which are shown off-site in other venues and spaces across the country.
