MSc Study Room With a small intake of postgraduate students, there is a strong sense of group identity. The MSc Study Room is a dedicated space for postgraduate study or socialising. It is equipped with desktops, printers and has network ports.

The MSc Trading Room is a simulation trading floor that recreates a trading floor in an investment simulates a real trading floor to provide hands on experience in a dynamic environment for hands on experience.
• MSc Finance (2 years) • MSc Computational Finance More information can be found at royalholloway.ac.uk/economics The Masters degrees share an overall aim of providing you with rigorous training in the analysis of economics or finance, including quantitative techniques and research methods. The two year Masters programmes is offered to people from a noneconomics background with the first year being a conversion diploma. The MSc programmes are kept small and select to ensure you are provided with personalised academic support. Teaching is usually through a series of well-designed lectures, seminars and workshops with additional tutorials and support from academic staff. You will be continually assessed through coursework and final exams and there will be a dissertation at the end.
Careers and Networking opportunities The Department runs a number of Economic specific careers events each year. Lectures, workshops, practice interview sessions with career professionals and networking events are typical of these events. There are strong links with its alumni who provide invaluable careers advice, contacts and networking opportunities to current students. Talks are hosted regularly by the Department jointly with the Economics Society ranging from Practitioner insights, case studies, careers advise and Q&A sessions.
