HELLO It has been quite some time since our last newsletter. Life as you know well, gets super busy. We have been raising Chloe who is now 8 ½ years old and celebrating our 21 years in business running our portrait studio.
A STUDIO MAKEOVER We have had a wonderful summer, during these past months we have remodeled and redecorated the Studio to a whole new look. Deep rich tones of purple adorn the main lobby with accents of greys and silvers up on newly dark bamboo floors. I just love how we were able to tie in a new white brick wall to make the place just that much warmer.
I cannot believe it. In that 21 years I can say we have seen a lot of changes in the world of photography and our lives. Years ago we started our business with film in our cameras and now with a click of a button digital has allowed us a whole new world. With that, also comes more computers, memory, software updates, and huge storage servers to make sure all of our clients portraits are archived and safely kept. Wow how times change! Chloe is growing up fast just as your families are too. I wish there was a pause button I could use to keep her little forever. She has moved on to her new loves of Karate, Sparring, and Horse Back Riding. Sadly, dance has taken a hiatuses for now.

MY NEWEST ENDEAVOR

My newest endeavor is Hand Painted Portraits. Many of you know that I have always painted for pleasure in my spare time throughout the years. Well life got busy and it was pushed aside. However, when I ran into a colleague of mine that was combing photography AND painting to create beautiful masterpieces for her clients, my eyes opened. It was in that pivotal moment when I knew what I had to do. My new journey begain, I traveled out of state to study with a master artist one on one, purchased all my supplies and now I am able to combine my love of art and portrait photography into beautiful hand painted pieces with fine oils. My Heart is now Happy! Stay tuned for more ....

Ingredients: 15oz can of Pumpkin 5oz box of instant vanilla pudding {just the powder, do not make the pudding} 16oz container of cool whip {can use low fat} Small Pumpkin ½ tbsp. of Pumpkin Pie Spice ½ tbsp. of Cinnamon
Directions: 1. Mix pumpkin, dry pudding mix, cool whip, and pumpkin pie spice together {by hand} in a very large bowl. 2. Chill for several hours before serving. Meanwhile, carve your pumpkin! 3. Fill pumpkin with mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon, and serve with fresh apple slices, vanilla wafers, or ginger snaps.
