1.Introduction
Welcome to this early December edition of our newsletter. This month there are 2 important dates I want to let you know about:
15/1/25 Street photography in London
22/2/25 Online LRPS advisory day
And, just to show what we have enjoyed in the past, there are 2 lots of pictures taken from our events in Knole Park and Bedgebury Pinetum over the last month
or so. To enjoy all the pictures from Knole Park and the Pinetum you will need to view the whole Newsletter in ISSUU. See the link at the end.
2.What has happened in the SE region since the last newsletter
The visits to Knole park for the woods and deer and Bedgebury Pinetum for the forest were both well attended and we were reasonably lucky with the weather. Autumn colours need a strong sky, which we had for odd moments at Bedgebury. It certainly tests your ability to get the most out of a raw image!
3.News in the region
We have submitted a budget which reflects our desire to carry on with a mixture of a number of free to attend events/a few pay to attend events/1 LRPS advisory day.
We are waiting to see how the decision to sell RPS house affects us in the regions. I hope it means some of the events that are currently held in Bristol find their way to the SE. Exhibitions and ARPS/FRPS assessment days come to mind.
