The Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam is the leading national museum of photography in the Netherlands. The museum shows every facet of photography: documentary and experimental, contemporary and historical. In addition to exhibitions of major names in Dutch and international photography, the museum regularly presents work from its inhouse collection. We have substantial sponsorship from the city of Rotterdam. Rotterdam PR are on board for the marketing and PR activities. The Fotomuseum are appointing us a project manager to work with to put the exhibition together.
Printing There are some steps to be made. We need get the printing sponsorship agreed. In principle I have had a provisional agreement for this but until I can define exactly what and when the prints are needed. Join this project and help us! Make photographs Your help is needed please if we are to get across the finishing line on time. Most importantly we need you to come and take more really good photos of the areas yet to be covered. Remember your work will be on display at the Fotomuseum, so this is a rare opportunity for all of us. The scope of the exhibition has been redefined to be Rotterdam postcodes starting 30XX that fall inside the ring road. We do not have the time to complete the full 4000+ streets to include postcodes outside the ring road.

Join this project and help us! The exhibition and skills of InDesign for photobook We are going to need physical help with the workload to get to exhibition. Ideally the Museum would like us to produce a photobook to go with the exhibition. if you have any ideas how we can accomplish this and are willing to take that element of the workload off let us know. Contact janet.haines@me.com to discuss if you have the skills, time and contacts to do this. Join this project and help us! Skills of Photoshop Compilation of the photos is a massive task. We have around 132 sheets to make and each takes time to create. See one of the results on page 4. If you can help and have the technical skills. We need to start on this as each postcode area is finished. Join this project and help us! Child interactive pack We will also want to produce a child interactive pack. Who is able to help us with this special request? Contact janet.haines@me.com Opening exhibition The PR lady is hoping the Rotterdam Mayor will open the exhibition. So we need to match him with our heavy weights. RPS President, Walter Benzie HonFRPS, will be attending our launch on 27th September! Janet shall be at RPS HQ in early March and discussing this project with the CEO.
