In the past, alongside her Realz Records crew, Vaygez Blakk established herself as a go to femcee for true hip-hop heads. This time around, she has redefined her music and showcased an ability to entertain old and knew listeners.

“One of the things I took time to focus on while on break was my content. I wanted to come back and be able to fit right into where music is at today with-

out compromising what I am known for - my bars.”

The Best Relationship You Can Have By Caroline L. Thompson When is the last time you heard anyone, man or woman say “Why Can’t I Find A Good ME?” [checks watch]… Now if asked how many times have you heard “Why can’t I find a good man/woman?” The number would probably be incredibly high. So why is it that we expect others to fill our voids and make us happy when we aren’t truthfully happy within ourselves? When is the #SelfLove that we see and hear ourselves proclaiming going to take effect? At one time or another we have all thought about our ideal or “perfect” partner. Someone who understands us, accepts us as we are, flaws and all, and loves us without condition. There is nothing wrong at all with desiring to find and be with your so called true love However, where we fail at often times is chasing a romantic relationship and ignoring a healthy, loving relationship with self. The person that we yearn to fulfill our desires can be the person that is in our own reflection. How can we expect someone to be with us when we don’t even want to be with ourselves? This new wave of declaring self love for the gram or other social media outlets sounds good, but are we really practicing self love? When is the last time you’ve taken yourself out on a date or forgave yourself for a mistake you’ve made, sat with yourself and was comfortable in your own solitude? When is the last time that you’ve considered that your friendships are also significant relationships in your life?

Solitude is not scary. Being single is not a curse. Taking alone time to learn about and love on you is essential to your personal development. Developing a relationship with yourself has many rewards. You can correct character flaws, discover new likes and combat dislikes about yourself. Finish or start projects. Reflect, regain, and implement new approaches to possible prospective romantic relationships. While romantic relationships (when healthy) are beautiful, they should not be your focal point when it comes to love. Learning to love you is a process and a journey that we all should attempt to embark on. We should never place our happiness in the hands of another. The best relationship one can have is one with self, settling for the first person that comes along strictly for the sake of not being alone is simply unacceptable and detrimental to your growth and happiness. Ask yourself, what about me can I work on? Do I love myself wholly, Do I really want a relationship or am I seeking an out of my solitude? Again, we all want companionship and love - Start within yourself. Strengthen your relationship with YOU.

BITE THE APPLE Polygamy and all the matters of the ♥ What can a relationship survive?

My good friend Tina asked me the other day about if I had ever had a threesome. Well of course, once upon a long time ago, I answered. Why are you asking? Tina was never the friend to pry or the friend to experiment, for that matter, so this means there is a significant problem troubling my good friend. She begins to explain how she met the most amazing man and how she is falling in love but she is unaware what his love life will do to her. Now, I’m interested. She begins to explain that the man has been in a polygamist relationship for years and how him and his partner are looking to add someone special to join the love fest. I am completely taken aback at the fact that my somewhat immature and prudish friend is considering this option. I mean, this is the same woman that still doesn’t give men oral sex because she finds it disgusting, but now considering a threesome and maybe even polygamy.

I mean, this is the same woman that still doesn’t give men oral sex because she finds it disgusting, but now considering a threesome and maybe even polygamy. Polygamy is the practice of having either multiple husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends and all be in one relationship. I know right, sounds like a dream. But what a lot of people who turn a shameful eye to polygamists are simply because the practice is unknown and foreign to us. It’s something that men in their twenties dream of but eventually find a woman and fall in love. But, although it is illegal in many countries, even though widely practiced, you can still find people who practice in the wide spread of love. Iraq, Malawi, Libya, Namibia, and Uganda are the few countries that still practice the ideas.

Side Chick v. Second Girlfriend ···

Ladies. We should have had this conversation a loooong time ago. But, now that you are finally here, let’s discuss. Being a side chick and being a girlfriend in a multigirlfriend relationship are two totally different things and deserve to be discussed. A side chick is a woman (side dude for men) is a term used to describe a woman (who could be single or in a relationship) having sex with a man who is in a relationship, whether married or not. Now, being one girlfriend in a multiperson relationship whether married or not is something that has a value to the name. Yes ladies, titles mean something. There is a communication in a polygamist relationship that is understood by all parties, meaning the key to this relationship is making it last while side chicks are hiding in secret. <3

It is also legal in Australia, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Maldives, Malaysia, Iran, Benin, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Pakistan if you are from a Muslim background. But even here, on the sweet soil of American pride, you can find television shows dedicated to the extraordinary lifestyles such as Sister Wives, which aired on TLC in 2010. Sister Wives follows a man and his four wives, and together they share 17 children together in Las Vegas, Nevada. So, for some, they can you find loving and intense polygamist couples just as much as regular couples. For instance, my last relationship was an open relationship. My ex and I talked a lot about how we wanted to live our lives and in case them in love. I have never really been the jealous type of girlfriend, but sharing my boyfriend was never an option, until it was. I didn’t want to be in a relationship at all and so the best way to cope was to do an open one. Well, as we can all see that ended badly because he is now an ex, and I have moved on. But the point is that

not everything is meant for everyone and this should be known. I will give you all the same advice I gave my beautiful friend, Tina. Don’t ever compromise yourself for a person. Don’t ever compromise yourself to make another person happy. You know yourself the best and you know your strengths and weaknesses. Use them to your advantage. That just because my open relationship didn’t work out doesn’t mean that yours won’t. It really works for some people. It could have worked for my ex and I had he not had been so extremely insecure about EVERYTHING. If you are looking for an open relationship or polygamy then you can absolutely find it, but it takes a lot of work, as will any relationship. Be prepared to work twice as hard to get what you need from it. But never let anyone’s opinion of your relationship define you as of who you are. The beautiful thing about love and relationships is that everyone has a different experience and that’s what makes it so unique. You will never know what you get from love until you try. My good

friend, Trina, she opted out of that kind of love. She agreed that she would be in over here head and that it wasn’t for her. But what about you? What can your relationship withstand? A threesome? Cheating? Side-men? Sidechicks? What’s fair in love and war? And where do we see our future? Currently, millennials are getting married slower and slower which may be in fact a good thing. Taking the time to fairly assess if the relationship is something that you are willing to work at for the rest of your lives. Remembering that everyone goes through something in a relationship and that it’s only right to feel uncertainty in it but that should never discourage your from trying! ♥

hey say sometimes “Life can be a little rough like sandpaper.“ I can testify to life being rough and causing a lot confusion and pain. I became a fatherless child at the age of 13 due to medical malpractice. After losing him, I felt like I had a no real passion and no strength. In less than 10 years, I lost my father, grandfather, and grandmother.Through it all I never lost the conversations I had with them and it began to help me remember exactly who I am and what I was meant to do. I am meant to share my love of fashion and poetry with people in the world. I am meant to show people through death and heartache, you can still make it. I am meant to show people to forever be yourself. I am meant to show people to LIVE! I share my story of how grief has changed my life because I want young children to know someone hears and understands them. As my grandmother said “ Be blessed, Stay blessed, & always be a Blessing!“

rkansas born singer/songwriter Alejandro Jamal initially came to New York City seven years ago to pursue a career in theatre but soon realized getting his R&B career off the ground was the priority. Taking the leap from Arkansas to New York to audition for a spot at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (one of the most courageous things I learned about him in this interview) is initially what got him to New York, but his music kept him here. Crediting artists such as Brandy, Kehlani, Frank Ocean, and John Legend Alejandro finds himself drawing inspiration from basically any scenario and emotion he experiences. He explains that his process can vary from one day to two weeks but he loves it anyhow. Alejandro explains that his music is very free and is always a reflection of things he’s come in contact with in some shape or form. It’s that kind of connection that one can appreciate in a musician and creative in general. Alejandro has his foot on the gas and he show’s no signs of slowing up. He’s been doing showcases, photoshoots, and has even put out his project this summer. You can check him out on instagram @iamalejandrojamal , iTunes, and Soundcloud. Thanks for sitting down with me Alejandro and keep working!

ueens born, Staten Island raised creative Elizabeth Malave credits drawing, painting, and photography as her for bringing out her creative self. She started drawing at the age of seven, found paint her sophomore year of college, and then had to make more room for photography and has been pushing each craft since they’ve come to her. Elizabeth explains that for as long as she can remember she has admired artists such as Cecil Beaton, Andy Warhol, Michelangelo, and even Brooklyn Beckham. Seven years ago Malave did her first photoshoot for her birthday and she says it was on set for that shoot that she realized that she enjoyed photography. After that one shoot she purchased her first camera and took a photography class. Letting her passion drive her Malave went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in art with a focus in photography from The College of Staten Island . Elizabeth goes on to explain that while some of her concepts for photography, or even drawings come to her at random times, she finds a lot of inspiration from reading, and surfing through Pinterest. As an artist she recognizes that creative block is real and can get to you while growing a concept, but she deals with it by removing herself from the idea at the time and resetting mentally. The las year has been an amazing one for the whole Elizabeth Malave brand. Her works can be viewed on instagram @elizabethmalavephotography and you can contact her personally via email at elizabethmalave94@gmail.com . She has a message to spread and that is “Stay creative & weird” Thank you for catching up with me Elizabeth I’m rooting for you !

aw is the word you use to describe the Philly born, Jacksonville native Mizzy Raw. At a young age he started off rapping at age 11-12, but took it more seriously at the age of 16. Before that what really started it was is career as a dancer, doing b-boying then stopped at the age of 12 to play basket ball, but at the end of the day it all led back to the music, the entertainment. I If someone was to hear Mizzy’s music for the first time a few words to describe what they would hear would be inspirational, raw, uncut, and from the root. Every son he puts out has a message behind it, very conscious. Mizzy has a couple singles out one called “Free” and the other called “

grind”.

On my

In the next 5 years Mizzy’s plan is to properly brand his self, build his foundation, his team, and fan base where he needs it to be. As an artist and entrepreneur Mizzy says, “Be all you can be”. Other then being an entertainer Mizzy wants to get more into fashion, but he wants to understand the level of it before he jumps into it. Right now he is aiming to focus more on the business part of the music industry, self educate himself to a point where he can start his own label. Mizzy outsize out of music is serious, stand offish, not very trusting due to pass incidents. He ha been through a lot but he keeps a humble site on things and appreciates the support to whoever he comes in contact with, but after that he just keep it pushing to focus on what he came here for and that is to be great.
