LEE’s CORNER
Professional’s opinions on the economic state of the borough of Croydon
Lee Dunn:
Hello Miss. How are you doing?
Teacher:
Good morning, I'm doing well. How about you?
Lee Dunn:
I'm doing well too, thank you. I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about Croydon's economic state.
Teacher:
Of course. What would you like to know?
Lee Dunn: What is your current opinion on Croydon's economic state?
Teacher:
Well, in my opinion, Croydon's economy has been struggling in recent years. There have been several factors that have contributed to this, including high unemployment rates, a lack of investment, and a decline in the local retail.

Lee Dunn: Do you think that there are any solutions to these problems?
Teacher:
Uhm yeah, I would say that there are solutions to these problems. One potential solution is for the local government to invest more in the area, both in terms of infrastructure and education. This could help to attract more businesses to the area and provide residents with more job opportunities. Additionally, there could be more support for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the area.
Lee Dunn:
Do you think that these solutions would be effective in improving Croydon's economy?

Teacher:
I believe that these solutions could be effective in improving Croydon's economy, but it would require a lot of effort and cooperation from both the government and the local people and businesses. However, we must remember economics takes time.
Lee Dunn:
Thank you for joining me in this interview.
Teacher: You're welcome. Have a good day
