THE PURPOSE

The purpose of the Science Teaching Leadership Programme is to support the development of effective science teaching in schools. Participant teachers engage in a programme of learning that immerses them in the world of science and leadership to empower the school to grow a scientifically literate community.

“The impact has been seen in science, other aspects of the school as well as in their personal lives.

The teachers are changed people. Both were very experienced, capable teachers but since being on STLP they have lifted to another level. They are now skilled, passionate, focused leaders.”
