Hello my fellow gearheads. I pray this finds everyone happy, healthy and prosperous. We are certainly living in strange and tough times. The pandemic has changed the way we live and has affected many of us in ways we never thought would happen. As most of you are aware, my custom shop finances my hunger for racing and keeping Big Red in one piece. However, my main source of income is derived from my 30-year-old thriving martial arts business. Besides being an avid gearhead, I am a lifelong martial artist that was blessed to be able to parlay that passion into a highly successful and fulfilling career.
When the pandemic originally swept through the U.S. last year, we were forced to close for six months and teach virtually from our home. The only problem was that 100% of my business bills were still coming in, and we were making a fraction of our income. We stayed in the fight and hemorrhaged money trying to keep our doors open.
