Back by popular demand, this festive extravaganza returns to the Royal Albert Hall.

Yunchan Lim performs Chopin
Star pianist Yunchan Lim joins the RPO for this exclusive Royal Albert Hall performance, performing Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto. In the second half, Music Director Vasily Petrenko transports us to the Alps, with Richard Strauss’ thrilling tone poem, An Alpine Symphony.
Symphonic Soul: A Celebration of Motown and More
An unmissable night of soul music from the legendary Motown record label and leading artists of the era. Featuring unforgettable tracks including R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Reach Out (I’ll Be There), Dancing in the Street, Midnight Train to Georgia, Stop! In the Name of Love, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, My Guy, Proud Mary, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, My Girl and more.
Maxim Vengerov performs Sibelius
Legendary violinist Maxim Vengerov takes to the Royal Albert Hall stage with the RPO with Sibelius’s Violin Concerto, a piece suffused with the atmosphere of his Finnish homeland. Music Director Vasily Petrenko then concludes this concert with Stravinsky’s dramatic musical illustration of the Russian fairytale, The Firebird.
