An evening of timeless American classics, from the captivating sounds of Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man to John Williams’ Olympic Fanfare and Theme. Plus Gershwin’s jazzinspired Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris, music from the much-loved musical West Side Story and more.

Let’s Face the Music

Featuring much-loved songs and duets from Singin’ in the Rain, Guys & Dolls, Anything Goes, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music, Hello, Dolly!, West Side Story, The Wizard of Oz, Kiss Me Kate, Oklahoma!, Calamity Jane, Annie Get Your Gun, Carousel, A Star is Born, Top Hat and Brigadoon, to name but a few.

Dance the night away to timeless charttopping tracks performed by the RPO and guest vocalists: Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Money, Money, Money, Take a Chance on Me, S.O.S., Voulez-Vous, Super Trouper, The Winner Takes it All, Fernando, Does Your Mother Know, Thank You for the Music… and more.

John Rutter’s Christmas Celebration

Back by popular demand, this festive extravaganza returns to the Royal Albert Hall.

Join John Rutter and the RPO for a sparkling programme featuring many of John Rutter’s own works and arrangements, alongside symphonic classics and sing-along carols.

Film Music Gala: And the winner is…

Filled with music from your favourite awardwinning Hollywood blockbusters, including La La Land, The Sound of Music, Schindler’s List, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Lord of the Rings, E.T., The Bridge on the River Kwai, Star Wars, Jaws, Out of Africa, Titanic, Chariots of Fire, Aladdin, West Side Story, The Lion King and more.

Yunchan Lim performs Chopin

Star pianist Yunchan Lim joins the RPO for this exclusive Royal Albert Hall performance, performing Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto. In the second half, Music Director Vasily Petrenko transports us to the Alps, with Richard Strauss’ thrilling tone poem, An Alpine Symphony.

Symphonic Soul: A Celebration of Motown and More

An unmissable night of soul music from the legendary Motown record label and leading artists of the era. Featuring unforgettable tracks including R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Reach Out (I’ll Be There), Dancing in the Street, Midnight Train to Georgia, Stop! In the Name of Love, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, My Guy, Proud Mary, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, My Girl and more.

Maxim Vengerov performs Sibelius

Legendary violinist Maxim Vengerov takes to the Royal Albert Hall stage with the RPO with Sibelius’s Violin Concerto, a piece suffused with the atmosphere of his Finnish homeland. Music Director Vasily Petrenko then concludes this concert with Stravinsky’s dramatic musical illustration of the Russian fairytale, The Firebird.
