Prudential Douglas Elliman With thousands of Brokers in the NYC marketplace, Prudential Douglass Elliman needed to maintain their Corporate Identity and Brand image, on all Print and Marketing Materials of properties. They also needed a method for the Brokers to communicate photos, text and any third party real estate specific information, while seeing a proof before going to print. To manage the responsibilities of development and implementation, Prudential Douglas Elliman turned to Print by Premier + More Print Commerce software. The end result was an 85% reduction in outside Graphic Design fees, a 20% reduction in the cost of print materials, substantial reduction of soft costs, greater employee productivity and a assurance that all the corporate standards and Brand Identity are maintained.

THE CHALLENGE Brochures and Marketing materials of properties are created on a daily basis. The overall layouts are similar but the content, photos, floor plans, market information are all very unique to each property and its market location. This company produces thousands of short to medium size commercial/digital 4-color process on an annual basis. Also required was an image library of approved photographs, and Headshots while putting the ability for the uploads of custom photographs in the hands of a broker. This system has given Prudential Douglass Elliman the quickest way to advertise properties in the marketplace via print.

THE SOLUTION Prudential Douglas Elliman realized that an enterprise-wide solution was the only way to solve the problem. They started with a vision of streamlining the Request-ProofApproval-Production workflow. All the Brokers would be linked via the Internet to customizable templates which feature approved fonts, selectable point sizes, colors, images/photos of both stock and custom shots could be selected for a property. They entered into a single sourcing agreement with Print by Premier + More., a commercial printer with the resources and technology to provide a complex yet extremely easy to use system. However, the relationship entailed much more than just printing; it was a business solution and a comprehensive Inventory, Reporting, Warehousing, Tracking and Distribution System. Print by Premier + More has been able to adapt this technology to work through the Douglas Elliman intranet allowing endusers single sign on capabilities with the same familiar view of their own web site. The eCatalogue ensures that each order is routed in the most expeditious manner for approval. This step alone saves over a week when compared to the previous method of the production process.

THE RESULTS Prudential Douglas Elliman launched a new On-Line commercial printing ordering and inventory system. End users and Brokers have desktop access to 15 different designs templates to choose from. Each design template has the ability to be totally customized while maintaining the Brand Image associated with Prudential Douglas Elliman. After seeing the design, the Broker can add their own personal information, view a PDF proof, attach a mailing list, and look for the printed materials to arrive to them or be mailed within seven working days. Managers receive daily requests for approval and end users can track status all online. “The Automated Office”
