Accompanied by a notarized letter of provenance from the owner, in part: “On 12/5/1984, I attended the Purple Rain concert at the Richfield Coliseum in Ohio....I was sitting high up on the left-hand side of the coliseum, and I saw him drop the glove he was wearing...When the concert ended, I approached one of the stage guys and said that I saw Prince drop his glove on top of the higher right-hand stage. I asked him if I could have the glove that Prince dropped. He said yes, went to the top, came down with the glove and handed it to me.” A fabulous piece of Prince’s stage-worn wardrobe, epitomizing the glamorous style of the Purple Rain era.
