usual musical quotation in another hand on an off-white 4.5 x 4 sheet, annotated with corrections in Stravinsky’s hand, and signed in the lower left in ballpoint, “Igor Stravinsky, (with corrections), Jan/63.” At upper left, he writes, “con sord. [with mute],” and on the lower line he adds, “solo senza sorg” and “dolce.” In fine condition, with toning from prior display, and old tape stains along the top and bottom edges, easily matted out. x 3.5 photo of the Beatles, signed on the reverse in green ballpoint by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, in black ballpoint by John Lennon, and in blue ballpoint by George Harrison. The photograph was taken by Les Chadwick during a photo session with the Beatles in late September 1962, just one month after Ringo had joined the group. An extremely limited quantity of these photographs were signed by the Beatles for people that joined their fan club. The consignor notes that the signatures date to late 1962/early 1963. In very good condition, with surface loss to the photo side, staining, creasing, and a heavy central vertical fold. Signed. ANS signed “JM,” accomplished in red artist’s pencil on an 8.5 x 11 sheet, no date but circa 1968. Handwritten note on Vietnam War–era politics by the legendary Jim Morrison, in full: “Goldwater & Johnson eat shit.” Initialed at the conclusion by Morrison, “JM,” and by his friend and traveling companion Alain Ronay, “AR.” In very good to fine condition, with overall creasing, intersecting folds, and an old tape stain to the top edge.
Accompanied by a detailed letter of provenance from Ronay, in part: “From the first time we crossed the border and thereafter, Jim Morrison and I had an enduring passion for Tijuana, Mexico. When people questioned our taste for the raunchy town, Jim would say that we were ‘looking for the evidence’… On one such visit in about 1968, we ran into two young American soldiers on the infamous Avenida Revolucion who recognized Jim and who wanted to buy him a beer. They took us to their favorite dive bar, The Blue Note. The GIs were so proud of themselves for having nabbed a true rock star that they insisted Jim go sing with the local Mexican band playing onstage—which he did—but the kicker was none of them even knew who had just joined them!…One of these soldiers was angry that he had been recruited under pressure when Lyndon Johnson won his election against Barry Goldwater in 1964. Jim pulled out a notepad (he always carried one around with him) and on the spurt of the moment wrote ‘Goldwater & Johnson eat shit.’ He initialed it and then I did, too, in agreement.” Also includes an additional letter of authenticity signed by Ronay. Originally obtained by in-person specialist Mike Wehrmann and includes a letter of provenance from him, in part: “He signed this on March 11, 1987 at the stage door of the Brooklyn Academy of Music.” On that date, Dylan performed as part of the ‘Gershwin Celebration Concert,’ a star-studded gala commemorating the 50th anniversary of George Gershwin’s death. Extraordinary first UK promotional pressing of the Eagles’ 1972 self-titled debut album, signed beautifully in ballpoint by all four original bandmembers: Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner, and Bernie Leadon, who adds two ‘Martianlike’ antennae to a cactus below his name, along with a flying saucer in the sky above. Includes the original UK Asylum Records white label disc with an affixed “Factory Sample, Not For Sale” sticker. In fine condition.
Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from JSA and REAL, and a detailed letter of provenance from the original recipient, Stuart Watson, a former EMI Records executive, which reads, in part: “The Eagles were one of the first US-based acts I worked with in the EMI Special Promotions Department at the time of their debut Festival Hall show in London on March 16, 1973. We hung out together for a few days doing interviews with local radio and press in the London area. This was the start of a long friendship with Glenn Frey which lasted until his untimely death in 2016. The group’s 1st LP was signed a few days before that 16th March UK debut during an interview with Radio London’s Mike Sparrow for his ‘Breakthrough’ Show.” Starting Bid $500

Terrific pairing of signed Led Zeppelin items: a UK vinyl pressing of the band’s fifth studio album, Houses of the Holy, which has been signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint by John Bonham; and a UK cardstock Swan Song record display, 12 x 12, which has been signed in blue ballpoint by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones. The consignor notes the Bonham signature was obtained at a launch party for the album in a nightclub in Studley, the Midlands, and the Swan Song display signatures were obtained by Dave Lewis, editor and founder of the Led Zeppelin fanzine ‘Tight But Loose,’ at London’s Heathrow Airport on May 17, 1977, when the group were flying to the USA for the final leg of their last American tour. Sought-after ‘WMET’ radio promo of Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti
591. Led Zeppelin Promotional ‘Physical Graffiti’ Album with Alternative ‘WMET’ Cover. Extremely rare
previously undocumented promotional pressing of Physical Graffiti, the sixth studio album by Led Zeppelin, which was specially customized by Atlantic Records / Swan Song Records for the now-defunct Chicago radio station WMET. The front cover design retains the brownstone New York City tenement buildings at 96 and 98 St. Mark’s Place, but whereas the official widely released design featured die-cut windows that spelled out the album name, this particular version spells out the WMET radio station in the upper windows, with all of the lower windows containing Christmas images like mistletoe, candy canes, presents, and Santa Claus. In very fine condition. The records are included.
Includes a letter of authenticity from Recordmecca’s Jeff Gold, who states that the album was discovered in the collection of Ken Barnes, the former editor of Radio & Records. A handwritten letter of provenance from Barnes is also included. Accompanied by the Christmas 2010 issue of the magazine Record Collector, which features a two-page article entitled “Radio Graffiti” that in greater detail tells the story of this rare WMET Zeppelin record. Attractive circa 1994 color greeting card with dual images of Prince holding daisies with a central design of his ‘love’ symbol, measures 7.75 x 7.5 open, the interior of which features an ALS from Prince, who writes in purple ink and signs at the conclusion with his symbol. The handwritten letter, in full: “Noise 2 keep u cool. 10,000 wallpaper has no sound. Play soft music and think hard thoughts…Hope 2 see u soon…” Includes the original envelope on which Prince has written the recipient’s name, “Julia Valet.” In fine condition, with some light creasing.

In the card, he references a music tape of self-recorded music he sent along with the card and his rare self-published magazine 10,000.
