Beginning...’. Limited edition color 26 x 32 lithograph of an Alan Bean painting entitled ‘In the Beginning…,’ numbered 169/1000, signed in pencil by 20 Apollo astronauts, each signing under his mission emblem. Signers are: Wally Schirra, Walt Cunningham, Frank Borman, Jim McDivitt, Rusty Schweickart, Tom Stafford, Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins, Charles Conrad, Richard Gordon, Alan Bean, Fred Haise, James Lovell, Harrison Schmitt, Charlie Duke, Dave Scott, Al Worden, Alan Shepard, Stu Roosa, and Edgar Mitchell. In fine condition. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the publisher, The Greenwich Workshop, and the original presentation folder, the front of which is torn on the left side. “Project Mercury” from April 1959, two pages, 8 x 10.5, signed in blue ballpoint, “M. Scott Carpenter,” “Leroy G. Cooper, Jr.,” “John H. Glenn, Jr.,” “Virgil I. Grissom,” “Walter M. Schirra, Jr.,” “Alan B. Shepard, Jr.,” and “Donald K. Slayton.” The pamphlet covers tests and research conducted in preparation for manned spaceflight. In fine condition, with two punch holes to the left edge (one to the first letter of Carpenter’s signature), and small old tape stains at the corners. Starting Bid $300

print of Peter Max’s colorful pop art rendition of the famous ‘visor shot’ of Buzz Aldrin during man’s first moonwalk, entitled ‘Apollo 11 - Walking on the Moon, 1969/1999,’ signed in black felt tip by the subject, “Buzz,” and the artist, “Max, 99.” In fine condition, with a crease to the upper left corner tip, and some light surface creases to the upper background area. Originally from Aldrin’s personal collection, the print is accompanied by a letter of provenance from his stepdaughter Lisa Cannon, and a full letter of authenticity from JSA. Starting Bid $200
