take the next step and prepare for a bachelor’s degree Nearly one third of Red Rocks students enroll here to prepare for success at a four-year university. Last fall, over 700 students transferred to a university, including Colorado School of Mines, Regis University, University of Colorado, Colorado State University, and Metropolitan State University. And if you’re still in high school, learn how to get dual credit for high school and college through our Concurrent Enrollment program. Talk to your high school counselor or visit www.rrcc/hs.
Traditional classroom: days, evenings, and weekends Online (or classroom/ online hybrid) Accelerated or self-paced Learning communities of linked classes Independent study design your own course with a faculty member Service learning that connects course work with community service
be smart cut your tuition bill significantly! Options to consider: COF - The state’s College Opportunity Fund helps state residents pay almost half of their per-credit cost. Community college makes smart economic sense. Your tuition bill from Red Rocks will be much less than the bill from a four-year college.
Financial Aid - Financial Aid is available from the U.S. Department of Education through loans, grants, scholarships, and student employment, and most students qualify for some form of aid. Please apply early to ensure your award arrives in time. Scholarships - There are hundreds of scholarships available to Red Rocks students through Financial Aid and the RRCC Foundation. We award about $500,00 each year! Student Employment - You can earn money and get to know the college community through part-time work-study on campus or internships with businesses in your field of study.
