Roberto Ricci, the man behind the brand. Energe&c and passionate Italian from Tuscany, Roberto started hand-‐shaping windsurf boards in the mid 1980s. Star&ng windsurfin in 1981 and like most of guys at that age just fell in love with it. In 1988 went to Maui and came in contact with the master shapers like Jimmy Lewis, Ed Angulo, and Craig Maisonville. These were the guru shapers and he learned a lot of tricks in their shaping and sanding rooms. The whole principal of RRD has always been to unify the homemade Italian ar&sanal thinking
about craMsmanship with the Hawaiian roots of shaping to create not only beau&ful objects but objects that also perform. In Italy everything you create you do with the heritage of your family, friends, and everything you learn.

Air Surf Rescue - Lifesaving Sup A special inflatable board to be used by lifeguards and Beach rescue teams. Specifically designed with a lower profile thickness and equipped with a line of special “grab� handles along the length of the board, and also on the nose and tail of the board, so as to be utilized for rescue purposes. Can be used both as a SUP board to cruise around and monitor the water security or by knee or chest paddling at the time of rescue in case the surf is up.
