The genesis of this design stems from the Ca’ Lando summer school workshop in 2022. Our approach involved dividing the room into two distinct spaces - the entrance, which served as a semi-public area, and the bed, which was designated as a private space.

The residential complex presented here is located on Via del Giglio, in the municipality of Padova (35134), and has been designed in compliance with urban planning regulations and constraints imposed by the client. At the core of our design is the significance of the number 3, which appears as both the number of buildings in the complex and as the number of sides in the polygon that characterizes the plan of each individual dwelling.

The portico is configured as a perimeter space that interfaces between two different conditions: interior/exterior, public/private, building/city. The potential of the portico ranges from improving human well-being to enhancing thermal and lighting conditions.

Il comparto di testa lato ovest introduce a un’architettura del vuoto, esaltazione della struttura nuda, abitata dal verde che scorre nel tempo, bagnato dalla pioggia e disegnato dall’uomo.
L’ambizione del teatro esperienziale è toccare il vuoto, come materia costruttiva di idee. L’ambito produttivo resta tale: produzione di buone abitudini.
Quello che costruiamo è un vaso, quello che vogliamo è un vuoto. Tutto parte da un vuoto, nell’architettura e nella nostra vita.
Il verticale della torre conduce al luogo da lontano e alza il valore visivo della contemplazione.
Un’arca della cultura che si sdraia nel lavoro di un tempo, rimasto nella memoria di mattoni, ferri e cemento.
L’orizzontale del percorso sdraiato attraversa i vuoti e i pieni in senso longitudinale, su due livelli, anticipandone il proseguo.
Vedo dalla città quel segno verticale.
La piazza a griglia allungata dichiara il disegno d’accesso, palconscenico per manifestazioni d’arte, in senso ampio.
Sono giorni che lo guardo dalla mia finestra; nel sole è scultura, nella notte è un faro.
Forme geometriche pure ospitano funzioni educative e culturali. Padiglioni sociali per molte possibilità, di utilizzo temporaneo, di allestimenti, di riconfigurazioni spaziali.
C’è una piazza a destra, sembra una carta millimetrata per prendere le misure al luogo. Alberi, cespugli. Guardo in alto e vedo il cielo, in una griglia scura
Una serra centrale è il manifesto simbolico del comparto, polmone ammaestrato su disegno esistente, volume in premialità, maturazione della natura e della natura dell’uomo.
Sento le voci del passato, mi chiedono di recuperare lo spazio perduto.
Vedo che si può salire sopra il tunnel; cammino appeso tra pilstri
