Practical Support is support around overcoming non-financial obstacles to getting holistic abortion care.
Practical Support Can Include:
Transportation (Lyft/Uber, Escorts, &/or Gas $)
Child Care Meals & Food
Lodging (Hotels & AirBnb)
Care Packages (menstrual supplies, comfy socks, etc.)

OUR FUNDING
Most of our funding has historically come from small donations from community members.
Fund-a-thon is an annual funding season hosted by NNAF where folks make teams and have friendly competition to raise funds
we only accept grants that do not compromise our mission & values

$10 will buy menstrual pads for a caller
$25 will provide food for a caller after their 12+ hour fast for their abortion appointment
$50 is one-way gas $$ for a caller traveling across the state
$150 is enough for childcare while a caller is at their appointment
$450 is a 2-3 days at a hotel for someone traveling from out of town
$1-$850 will cover one RRFP pledge towards the cost of their appointment
$2,000 will cover the local practical support budget for a month
$10,000 will cover a week's budget for caller pledges!
(this may change based on cost of living/budget shifts)
