where it all began. WaterWipes were created by our founder Edward McCloskey after his newborn daughter suffered with bad diaper rash. After an extensive search he couldn’t find a baby wipe that didn’t contain ingredients that would’ve been too harsh for her sensitive skin, so he decided to make his own. Many years later and after a lot of hard work, testing, and scientific research, WaterWipes were born. Pure, gentle and safe for the most delicate skin but in the convenience of a baby wipe, WaterWipes are the world’s purest baby wipes. Every day, parents around the world are discovering the benefits of our gentle and safe WaterWipes for their baby’s skin, we hope you like them too.
our process. Simply two ingredients To make the world’s purest baby wipes, we use as few ingredients as possible and a technical process that alters the structure of water to make the molecules even smaller, making it an even more effective cleanser. Our wipes are clinically sterile, totally pure and gentle, without the nasties. All WaterWipes contain is 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract to act as a natural skin conditioner.
Our environmental pledge Please dispose of WaterWipes responsibly. Wipes should never be flushed. At WaterWipes we pride ourselves on making the world’s purest baby wipe for newborn and sensitive skin. We fully understand that we also have responsibility to help protect the planet your little one will inherit. We previously made a commitment to having a 100% biodegradable solution without compromising on the purity of our product in 2020. Unfortunately the COVID-19 situation has caused many issues with supply chains due to the unprecedented demands placed on them. Because of this, we’re sadly not going to be able to bring our customers biodegradable wipes until 2021. We are disappointed that we can’t bring you a sustainable option sooner, but we will continue to work closely with our suppliers during these unprecedented times, so you and your little ones can enjoy our biodegradable WaterWipes as soon as possible. The terms flushable and biodegradable are often used interchangeably, but they are very different. No wipes, including biodegradable wipes, should be flushed. Often, even flushable wipes take time to break down in our sewer systems. Disposing of wipes with the household garbage is the best way to help protect our environment.

baby eczema: stop the scratching.
If your baby has eczema, we know it can impact the whole family. Their sensitive skin is red, itchy and irritated, making them uncomfortable and distressed, which is horrible for any parent to witness. And if they’re up scratching in the night and not getting all the sleep they need, chances are they’re more irritable during the day. And of course, if they’re sleeping less, you are too, which means you’re more tired than ever, all the while keeping an eye on them 24/7 to try and stop them scratching, while desperately trying to figure out how to make it go away. No, it’s not easy. But what’s important to know is that eczema is very common during infancy, with one in four babies experiencing it, so you are absolutely not alone. Plus, there are steps you can take to ease their discomfort. “I hadn’t actually realised how much Maya’s eczema had affected us until it stopped,”
how to treat baby eczema According to the Mayo Clinic and NHS, the below points could ease your baby’s eczema. • Try to reduce scratching as this can damage the skin and make eczema worse. Anti-scratch mittens may help, keep your baby’s nails short and clean and keep their skin covered with light clothing. • If certain fabrics irritate your baby’s skin, avoid them and stick to natural materials such as cotton. • Use emollients – moisturizing treatments applied directly to the skin. • Heat can aggravate eczema, so keep the rooms in your home cool, especially your baby’s bedroom. • Avoid using soaps and opt for only the purest products for your baby’s skin. WaterWipes have been awarded the seal of acceptance by the National Eczema Association.
