Erasmus Recruitment Erasmus Recruitment (ER) enables all students from the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) and Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) to meet with their potential future employers and take the first step into their careers.

The wide range of career opportunities is offered by ER’s two main components: the Erasmus Recruitment Days (ERD) and the Erasmus Recruitment Platform (ERP). Since 1997, the ERD has been the most acclaimed recruitment event of Erasmus University Rotterdam. In 2015, the ERP was established as the bridge between the Erasmus students and the corporate world. The platform is one of the core pillars of ER. On this platform, employers get

the chance to connect with students by communicating their latest internships and vacancies or by inviting students to their recruitment events. In 2020, the platform was completely revamped in order to provide year-round recruitment opportunities.

The ER Days is another core pillar of ER. It is the annual offline extension of the online platform. It is the largest on-campus recruitment event in Europe, with over 100 companies and 2,500 students participating every year. The ER Days takes place in January/February for two week and includes activities such as workshops, trainings, and speed-interviews. ER is a joint venture between Economische Faculteitsvereniging Rotterdam (EFR) of ESE and Study Association STAR of RSM. The

ER Board and committees are composed of students of both ESE and RSM to represent the interests of all stakeholders. Joining an ER committee is the perfect way to gain professional experience in a unique study association joint venture concept. Work in a multidisciplinary setting and meet fellow students!


Commercial Team The Commercial Team is a committee of the Erasmus Recruitment (ER) Board. Together with your fellow committee members, you will support the Commercial Relations Managers of the ER Board and will help formulate a commercial strategy for the Erasmus Recruitment Days and Platform. By joining the Commercial Team, you get to experience the perks of both study associations.

The Commercial Team is in charge of signing several companies for the Erasmus Recruitment Days (the event) and for Erasmus Recruitment in general (the vacancy platform). Commercials have the opportunity to use their sales-skills to close new companies for Erasmus Recruitment. Next to this, the commercials work as account managers. It is their responsibility to foster a good relationship with the companies in their portfolio.

The Commercial Team consists of 2-5 part-time commercials, guided by the fulltime Commercial Relations Managers of the Erasmus Recruitment Board. Are you ready to represent Erasmus Recruitment and close deals?


Open to BSc, PreMSc , and MSc students 6-8 hours/week

Marketing Team The Marketing Team is a committee of the Erasmus Recruitment (ER) Board. Together with your fellow committee members, you will support the Marketing Manager of the ER Board and will help formulate a marketing strategy for the Erasmus Recruitment Days and Platform. By joining the Marketing Team, you get to experience the perks of both study associations.

The Marketing Team has two important tasks. First, the marketeers are partly responsible for the marketing campaign of the Erasmus Recruitment Days. They support the Marketing manager with the creation of the yearly theme and brainstorm about how to attract as many students to particpate in the event as possible. The second task concerns the Erasmus Recruitment vacancy platform. The marketeers need to get more students using Erasmus Recruitment as their

preferred place for finding internships, traineeships, first jobs or available committees at EFR or STAR. They consider an all-year round marketing strategy for Erasmus Recruitment, including several marketing stunts. The marketing team consists of 2-5 part-time marketeers, guided by the full-time Marketing Manager of the Erasmus Recruitment Board.
