FOLK CONCERT "Druokeo Mights" at Albert Hall

We h e r a l d the s t a r t of another terra w i t h a n o t h e r s p e c i a l i s s u e o f FELIX': the s t a r t o f another summer term a n d t h e b e g i n n i n g o f t h e e n d of another academic year. T h e means exams end o f an academic year' f o r most o f us - a f r a n t i c but nev e r t h e l e s s dreary drag towards the success o r f a i l u r e f o r w h i c h w e a r e a l l p r i m a r i l y here -the g a i n i n g o f a degree. H o w e v e r , we c a n g a i n more. Not o n l y i s i t i n our i n t e r e s t , i t is a l s o our duty to e n r i c h o u r s e l ves by r e a c h i n g f o r r e a l i t y and r u t h i n a more genea! area than i n our own s p e c i a l i s e d d i s c i p l i n e s . And i t i s c o n t i n u a l l y w i t h i n our students to p r o t e s t at k r i g h t as what we se e as b o m b a s t i c , i n s i n cere, f a l s e , c r u e l oromerely m i s guided. T h i s i s what the students at L . S . E . have attempted to do. The admini s t r a t i o n at L . S . E . , by i n t e r f e r i n g i n t h e i r attempt to d i s c u s s , and perhaps to disagree w i t h , the appointment o f D r . W a l t e r Adams as t h e i r new D i r e c t o r , has impugned t h i s r i g h t . We m a y d i s a g r e e w i t h the L . S . E . s t u d e n t s on t h e i r objec t i o n s t o D r . Adams, (one cannot but f e e l s o r r y f o r the man's d i f f i c u l t p o s i t i o n ) , but no-one can deny t h e i r r i g h t , or even t h e i r •nty, to d i s p l a y t h e i r disagreement.
