Natural Born Swimmers Water Babies have been running classes across Sheffield for the past eight years. And the good news is that it’s never too early to take your baby to the pool - as long as the water’s warm enough. The multi award-winning Water Babies course teaches using voice commands – learning to respond to these is excellent for your baby’s mental development. Lessons last half an hour and provide a complete physical work out. Swimming is also excellent for enhancing the bond between parent and child. And, with the emphasis on having fun, lessons are a great way of making new friends. The other obvious benefit is water safety. With carefully structured training, babies can be taught life saving skills such as turning onto their backs or swimming to the nearest solid object following a sudden submersion. Water Babies is tremendously proud of the fact that, in the last two years alone, they’ve had five of their tiny clients save themselves from the tragedy of drowning. Water Babies next term will start from 6th September. We use a number of venues across Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster For more information on the UK’s leading baby swim school look at www.waterbabies.co.uk or call 01924 223844.
