DISTRIBUTION industry EVENT DISTRIBUTION RTC magazine, COTS Journal, Portable Design, PKG, EDA Tech Forum Journal, and in turn, you as an advertiser benefit from exposure and distribution at numerous industry events. These publications travel to both national and international shows, tangibly presenting themselves to some of the industry’s biggest players, decision makers and consumers. The added value of event distribution extends beyond the growth of the magazine’s subscriber base, as both readers and contributors of highly specialized editorial are able to engage in face-to-face interaction. Often, The RTC Group is represented at major events by members of its sales and marketing teams, as well as the magazine editors themselves. The 2009 distribution calendar is subject to change; however, each magazine’s circulation benefits from exposure at major industry events such as ESC, DAC, NXTcomm, ARM DevCon and Embedded World. Additionally, they are sent to approximately 30 RTECC shows worldwide, an event produced by The RTC Group. The magazines are also available at the EDA Tech Forum, which in 2008, featured seven North American sites as well as nine international locations. For more information, please ask a representative from The RTC Group.

ADVERTISING “MAKING SENSE” WITH PRINT ADVERTISING With the rise of electronic media alternatives, many marketers are given the false idea that print advertising has lost its impact. Instead, electronic media highlights the increased need for FOCUSED impact. Marketing managers, under increasingly tighter budgets, are looking for advertising opportunities to make the most impact. Electronic media has revolutionized the ways we can focus our message on the correct audience, yet can lack the IMPACT necessary for a successful return. Print advertising in publications focused on your customers provides the best balance of FOCUS and IMPACT for your marketing dollar.
INTEGRATED ADVERTISING In a time when many companies are keeping close watch on the return on investment between print and online media services, The RTC Group tightens its grasp on the reigns of both. It is their belief that neither medium is individually superior to the other, but that they operate jointly in the quest for brand awareness and familiarity. Recent research has found that magazine advertisements are the most effective offline source in driving Web traffic. The RTC Group values and understands the measurable contributions its publications make to their online counterparts and vice versa. The most important thing for you as an advertiser is to feel confident that your message performs in the marketplace. At The RTC Group, our standards begin with your goals and end with real results.
ELECTRONIC MEDIA RTC offers standard online advertising opportunities, through standard image and text advertisement options. The RTC magazine Web sites receive 30,000 unique visitors every month, researching and evaluating their product choices. With standard online advertising, you are able to capitalize and reach out directly to a focused and purchase-ready audience. Ask your sales representative for a package deal including traditional print and standard online advertising to create a comprehensive marketing plan, maximizing your brand and lead generation goals.
DIGITAL EDITION SPONSORSHIPS RTC offers the ability to reach out to its 17,000 digital subscribers. Every month our digital subscribers receive an email reminding them of the new month’s digital edition, available online. Highlight your company’s participation in the magazine and industry by advertising on our digital edition email. Standard online ad sizes are used to maximize impact and return. media kit 2009
