A NEW BEGINNING

DEAR BROTHERS, I am very proud to share our new magazine with you: Legacy: The Official Magazine of RTI. We have decided to focus significantly more on the user experience when dealing with our members. The quality of the experience with Round Table will be improved during this year. This will permeate throughout the entire year across multiple fronts.

Legacy will have fewer editions than prior years but will be filled with much higher quality content. We aim to create a more enjoyable experience for the reader by sharing articles that inspire and educate. New sections are included here that promote engagement and provide a holistic lifestyle approach for our members. Associations are no longer required to send in articles for specific editions. However, associations can elect to send in high-quality articles for our consideration at any time.

Our RTI University training, as detailed later on, is focused on providing value to members through high-quality sessions being offered under the leadership of Sachin. The focus is on how to improve the every day tabling life of our members as well as to impart real-world skills to yourself.

Tabler.World and the related App is another critical focus area this year. We have planned the largest number of developments in a single year, specifically focusing on making the user experience better and more valuable. Thomas and his team of DCO’s are working tirelessly to evolve this platform for future generations. The entire team has been bustling on their respective portfolios, and we have decided to share only some of these updates in this edition of Legacy. Please read through the magazine to see what we have been up to.

The upcoming HYM in Morocco between the 9th and the 13th of March 2022 in Marrakech, Morocco, will be the first time a major RTI event will take place in two years. The convening team and the RTI Board are excited to see you there and share this unforgettable experience with all of you.

During the early parts of November, the RTI Executive board visited Denmark to engage with the convening team and to have a board meeting. Words cannot express how big the RTIWM 2022 will be – this indeed will be a once in a lifetime event never to forget. We will also present a new format on running RTI meetings, focussing on making the events more engaging, shorter and entertaining.

All of the planned work for the year can only be done when team members come together for the common good. Over the last few months, I have been privileged to work with a fantastic team that truly embraces the theme of StrongerTogether and whose primary focus is on serving our membership.

Our theme of the year is StrongerTogether. Petty squabbles and internal politics have held us back for far too long. I urge everyone to put this behind us and to unite.
