Standard rifle ammunition today is loaded according to industry standards. CIP requires ammunition to be tested in barrels of standard length which in most cases is 61 cm for standard ammo and 65 cm for magnum calibers.

Shortening a barrel has consequences on the performance of the rounds:

• Less speed – affecting energy and precision.

• Higher muzzle pressure – affecting precision and recoil as well as life span of silencer.

• Greater muzzle flash – affecting use of night vision optics

• More corrosive residues left in barrel and silencer, affecting life span of your silencer

With NORMA Silencer Series, we’ve fixed all that. With these rounds, you get optimized ammunition that shoots way better in your shorter barrels and with your mounted silencers.
