Signage Guidelines The aim of the following signage guidelines is to ensure that navigation of the Tully School campus is as intuitive and as easy as possible. By providing students, staff and parents with clear directional signage and practical maps, the wayfinding experience on the Tully School campus can be as frictionless, easy and inspiring as the rest of the school experience.

What is wayfinding? All people wayfind in one way or another, the term wayfinding encompasses the way we navigate and spatially orientate ourselves within spaces and from place to place. Wayfinding signage is therefore designed specifically to assist in the process of orientation and navigation through the use of map, directional and location information.

Background The wayfinding system designed for Tully School aims to reflect and complement the wider visual identity of the school. It is designed to be functional, while still retaining the fun and appealing aspects of the school’s overall branding, including typography, shape, illustration and colour palette.

The exterior information hub map has less detailed building interior, but shows more of the surrounding area and transport links servicing the school. The interior information hub for each floor shows a detailed map of the floor and a directory of the key rooms/spaces on that floor.
