Garantie GARANTIE A VIE LIMITEE Rubi garantit ses robinets de salle de bain contre tout défaut de fabrication et défaut au matériel et ce aussi longtemps que l’utilisateur, qui doit également être le premier acheteur, est le propriétaire. La garantie couvre le fini chrome et le nickel (PVD). Une copie de la facture originale doit être fournie pour chaque réclamation adressée à Rubi. Certaines conditions s’appliquent. PIECES: Les cartouches des robinets de salle de bain Rubi sont couvertes par une garantie à vie limitée. Certaines conditions s’appliquent. CONDITIONS GENERALES La garantie ne couvre pas : l’usure normale du robinet; les dommages causés par l’utilisation de pièce de rechange autre que les pièces Rubi; suite à une installation défectueuse; un transfert; une utilisation abusive* ou impropre et un entretien inapproprié. La garantie, en milieu résidentiel, exclut les dommages causés par des conditions où l’air ambiant et l’eau sont altérés. La garantie ne s’applique pas dans les cas d’utilisation de produits nettoyants rugueux ou de matières abrasives. WARRANTY LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY Rubi warrants its bathroom faucets against manufacturing and material defects and as long as the user, who must also be the first buyer is the owner. The warranty does not apply to accidental damage (direct and indirect) costs related to labor statements. *Commercial or institutional uses - 1 YEAR WARRANTY Rubi warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of invoice, if they are used in commercial and institutional environments (heavy-duty, high use). Entretien

Pour nettoyer votre robinet, un savon doux, de l’eau chaude et un linge doux suffiront pour faire disparaître saletés, tâches et traces d’accumulation de savon. Rincez après le nettoyage et asséchez avec un linge doux et sec pour retrouver le lustre original de votre robinet. La garantie sera nulle et non avenue dans les cas d’utilisation de produits nettoyants inadaptés (particulièrement ceux contenant des agents abrasifs, cires, alcools, ammoniaques, javelisants, acides, des solvants ou autres produits chimiques corrosifs), qu’ils soient utilisés par l’acheteur ou par un tiers pour l’acheteur/propriétaire.

MAINTENANCE

Do not use harsh abrasives cleaners to clean your faucet. A mild detergent, warm water and a soft cloth will remove normal dirt and soap accumulations on its surface. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and polish with a soft dry cloth to restore original luster of your faucet. The warranty will be void in case of use of unsuitable cleaning products (especially those containing abrasive cleansers, waxes, alcohols, ammoniated, bleach, acids, solvents or other harsh chemicals), whether they are used by the purchaser or a third party for the buyer/owner.

Enlevez l'écrou-bouchon de la valve principale conservez-le pour l'installer au montage plus tard. Remove the cap-nut from the main valve and save it for further use.

Assemblez la première valve d'arrêt avec le tuyau de raccord. Un serrage manuel sera suffisant puisque l'étanchéité se fait grâce aux joints toriques des extrémités. Assemble the first stop-valve with the pipe fitting. Manual tightening is sufficient since the seal is made possible through O-rings on the ends.

Répétez l'étape 03 pour les valves d'arrêt suivantes et terminez la série en serrant l'écroubouchon sur la valve d'arrêt supérieure. Repeat step 03 for the following stop-valves and tightly assemble the cap-nut to the last stop-valve. 13

If you do not use RUBI's installation structure (XSU25X5), go to step 10 of this section.

Assemble RUBI's vertical support to the valves assembly using the hardware supplied with the support.

Prepare your wall wood frame making sure that you leave a sufficent distance between both horizontal wood pieces.

Fixez le support vertical RUBI à l'assemblage de valves en utilisant la quincaillerie fournie avec la plaque.

Assurez-vous que la surface finie du mur se situera entre 5 et 25 mm du corps du clapet anti-retour (indication sur le gabarit/protecteur). Make sure the finshed wall surface stands between 5 and 25 mm from the check valve body (indicated on the protector-template).

Fixez solidement le support de fixation vertical en vissant chaque patte (4) à la structure. Passez à l'étape 13. Securely fasten the assembly by screwing each support tab (4) to the frame. Go to step 13.

Positionnez l'assemblage de valves et fixez chaque valve au support à l'aide de quincaillerie adaptée (non-incluse). Place the valve assembly in position and fasten each one using adapted hardware (not included). 17

Raccordez les entrées d'eau chaude et d'eau froide à la valve principale en respectant les indications présentes sur celle-ci. Connect the hot water and cold water inputs to the main valve in accordance with the markings on each side of the body.

Effectuez le branchement des différents périphériques aux valves d'arrêt. Pour des exemples de diagrammes de branchement des ensembles standards Rubi, consultez la section des diagrammes. Connect the different devices to the stop valves. For illustrations of Rubi shower kits connection layout, refer to the layout section.

Tracez et percez la position des ouvertures sur le panneau de gypse et la céramique en suivant les dimensions, en mesurant votre installation (A), en utilisant le gabarit de plastique pour la valve principale. Trace and cut all openings on the gypsum and ceramic using shown dimensions, measuring your assembly (A) and using the valve's plastic cover. (Leave a 25 mm clearance under the valve to allow cartridge replacement.)

Replacez les protecteurs de plastique sur les valves et faites la finition du mur. Make sure all plastic protector are back on the valves and complete the wall.

Remove the plastic protector from the main valve and the stop valves.

Remove the control part from the valve using a screwdriver.

Retirez le protecteur de plastique de la valve principale et des valves d'arrêt.

Démontez la pièce de contrôle à l'aide d'un tournevis.

Appliquez un cordon de silicone au dos de la plaque de finition de la valve en laissant une ouverture au bas et insérez-la sur le corps principal en appuyant bien sur le mur. Apply a silicon cord on the finishing trim back side leaving an opening in the bottom and carefully place it onto the valve body pushing toward the wall.

Assemble the control part back in place.

Repeat step 19 for handles trims intallation.

INSTALLATION "T" horizontale - "T" Horizontal installation

Enlevez l'écrou-bouchon de la valve principale et conservez-le pour l'installer au montage plus tard. Assemblez le raccord en "T" sur la valve principale en serrant bien l'écrou. Remove the cap-nut from the main valve and save it for further use. Assemble the "T" coupling to the main valve and firmly tighten the nut. 28

Assemble the first stop-valve on one side of the coupling. The water outlet can be up or down, suiting your further connection needs.

Trace and cut all openings on the gypsum and ceramic using shown dimensions, measuring your assembly (A) and using the valve's plastic cover. (Leave a clearance of 25 mm under the valve to allow cartridge replacement).

Remove the plastic protector from the main valve and the stop valves.

Remove the control part from the valve using a screwdriver.

Vissez les manchons des valves d'arrêt.

Screw the sleeves onto the stop-valve.

Assemble the control part back in place.

Répétez l'étape 21 pour l'installation des plaques de finition puis, terminez l'installation en fixant les poignées à l'aide des vis allen.

Repeat step 21 for stop-valve trims intallation then complete the assembly with the handle insertion. Secure by screwing the allen screw.

Replacez la pièce de contrôle et vissez-la en place.

Build a support to further receive the valves assembly. Refer to the images above for minimum dimensions.

Replacez les protecteurs de plastique sur les valves et faites la finition du mur. Make sure all plastic protectors are back on the valves and complete the wall.

Retirez le protecteur de plastique de la valve principale et des valves d'arrêt. Remove the plastic protector from the main valve and the stop valves.

Remove the control part from the valve using a screwdriver, unscrew the cartridge sleeve and pull the temperature control lock out.

Replace the temperature lock aligning the halfring end at 5˚ and assemble back the cartridge sleeve.

Démontez la pièce de contrôle à l'aide d'un tournevis, dévissez le manchon de cartouche et retirer la barrure de température.

Replacez la barrure de température en alignant le bout de l'arc à environ 5˚ de la verticale et revissez le manchon de cartouche.

Ajoutez un raccord linéaire de l'autre côté de la valve d'arrêt. Add a straight coupling to the assembly beside the stop-valve.

Démontez les pièces délicatement et déserrez la vis de réglage dans le corps de la valve permettant l'alignement de la cartouche. Il peut être nécessaire d'enlever la plaque de finition.

ATTENTION

Carefully remove all parts and loosen the set screw in the main valve body allowing the cartridge alignment. Trim removal migth be necessary.

The plastic part should be assembled aligning the half-ring end at 5˚. Push-button on top.

La pièce de plastique doit replacée en alignant le bout de l'arc à environ 5˚. Le bouton-pression doit être au haut de la poignée.
