ASHFORD ENG 318 ENG/318 ENG318 WEEK 5 FINAL CREATIVE WRITING PORTFOLIO AND WRITING REFLECTION D O W N LOA D H E R E Focus of the Final Paper The Creative Writing Portfolio and Writing Reflection Final Paper for this course comprises of two parts. Part One will consist of your three creative works (the assignments completed in earlier weeks of the course) and Part Two will consist of a Reflective Essay. Part One: Using the feedback from your instructor and from the peer reviews, revise each of your creative works (the assignments completed in earlier weeks of the course) and submit them as Part One of your Final Paper. Part One of your Creative Writing Portfolio and Writing Reflection Final Paper must contain the following: Revised Nonfiction Essay (Assignment from Week One) Revised Fiction short story (Assignment from Week Two) Revised Three Poems (Assignment from Week Three) Part Two: Write a 500-word Reflection Essay discussing what you learned in the course and what you found most valuable to improve your writing. Address the following questions: Which of the genres were the easiest for you to write and why? What was the most difficult aspect of the revision process? What are your strengths in creative writing? What are your weaknesses in creative writing and how do you plan to improve in these areas? The Final Paper must be formatted according to APA (6th style), and all resources must be properly cited in text as well as on the reference page. 1. Must be at least 500 words in length, and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. 2. Must include a title page with the following: a. Title of paper b. Studentâ€&#x;s name c. Course name and number d. Instructorâ€&#x;s name e. Date submitted 3. Must begin with an introductory paragraph that has a succinct thesis statement. 4. Must address the topic of the paper with critical thought. 5. Must end with a conclusion that reaffirms your thesis. 6. Must document all sources in APA style, as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center. 7. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.
