案子挑戰 & 特色: 既有建物被列為洛杉磯市區重要建築,因此整體設計(外觀上的變動)對於市容觀瞻上 極為重要,需要向市政府提案並且合格。

此案分成三個不同階段:

1. 現有建築的改變建築使用 2. 增建-既有建築上方增加2樓

3. 增建-6層停車場+屋頂住戶公共空間+直升機平台

THESIS: SINGLE TO MINGLE

ATOMIZATION. How to atomize a mass, how to breakdown a whole, aiming for a disintegration of an object that turns an overall existing monolithic mass into a large discrete parts and interlocking units.

The project is a museum extension in Rosario Argentina. Sits diagonally at 45 degrees is clearly separated from the urban grid, the existing museum functions as an autonomous object, which is not only without interacting with context, but also creating a lot of waste space around it.

In a way, the new organization turns the clarity reading of a solid mass and its nine square grid into a MAZE. The new proposal organizes a group of interconnected masses that create a labyrinth organization that is constantly changing scale while producing range of spaces that interact with exterior much easier. The new proposal would afford museum visitors and guests the experience of a more intimate journey into art and architecture.

Through the integration of units, the organization is generated from the assembly of parts, that is manipulation the space, including 2D flat and vertical organization. The idea of movement throughout the space from the surrounding context into the museum art piece, the circulatory composition introduces a somewhat forceful but interactive condition with both art and architecture itself.

To put architecture on display? Our view of artwork and the way we walk through places are controlled, sometimes by art, sometimes by just a wall, or sometimes by a dead end which shows other parts of the maze. These interrupting volumes contain elements and materials that shift the focus away from art. Without literally intending to get visitors lost, the intention of the project is to slow down the experience of art and to create an individualized experience within art and architecture.

如何霧化一個質量? 如何分解一個整體?

將一個物體分解,一個整體存在的質量變成一個大的離散部分和互鎖單元。

基地為阿根廷羅薩里奧博物館的增建。

既有量體以45度對角的位置與城市網格明顯分離,現有的博物館作為一個自主的物體,不僅沒有與環境互動,而且在周 圍創造了大量的廢棄空間。

在某種程度上,新組織將固體質量及其九個方格的清晰讀數變成了迷宮。新提案組織了一組相互關聯的群眾,創造了一 個不斷改變規模的迷宮組織,同時產生更容易與外部互動的空間範圍。新提案將為博物館參觀者和客人提供更親密的藝 術和建築之旅體驗。

通過單元的整合,從零件的組裝中產生組織,操縱空間,包括二維平面組織和垂直組織。整個空間從周圍環境運動到博物 館藝術作品的想法,循環的構圖為藝術和建築本身引入了一種有點有力但互動的條件。

把建築當展示?

我們對欣賞跟觀看藝術品的角度和動線是受控制的,有時後是被藝術品、被建築元素(牆)或是被迷宮的死巷。 利用插入空間裡的”突兀”量體以及材質將焦點從藝術轉移至建築。目的不是為了讓遊客迷路,而是為了放慢藝術體驗, 並在藝術品和建築中創造個人化的體驗。

3B. DD/RE-THINK SCIARC

Vertical campus, gives a new definition of how students hangout in the campus. The module creates spaces adjacent to the perimeter of the building that host different type of social gathering, and studio gathering, the facade permits programs from meeting spaces to pin up spaces and smokers area.

At the same time by locating two atriums, which separate public and private, and connect gathering spaces give everyone a chance to feel involved with everything that is happening in the whole building.

This studio examined social housing in Mexico City in an urban context, aiming to create new urban alternatives located on medium density city blocks in Juarez neighborhood. The proposals therefore will rely on the following methods of intervention; thin and vertical, thin and flat, and hovering masses.

Adding different fields of advertisment and media screen for tv commercial to play on.

Because the whole mass is on top of a existing city block, by introducing different slicing angles to study how to increase the amount of sun light for the existing building below.

The elevated concept is creating another kind of typology and sociological spaces between the old and new.

Through out this bath house, you are forced to walk from concrete plates and walls to dirt.

The whole experience is about going through different left over spaces, where a lot of architecture elements are standing, and became part of the new spaces.

This bath house is mostly exposed under the sun, and with the perspective views, shows the vision of different shadow and light condition.
