simmental division Welcome to the Cowboy Kind sale! We are in exciting times in the cattle business, and exciting times at the ranch! We have been blessed with a good year around here. We want our customers to succeed and want you to know we will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Our success depends on yours. First and foremost we would like to welcome two of our longtime friends to the sale group. Dick Parrott and Ben Walbrecht have been raising great cattle by Lincoln for some time. We have bought and sold cattle with them going back to our “Top Cut” Maine bull that won Denver, Louisville, Ft. Worth, and Reserve in Kansas City back in 2000 that we owned together. They are short on help and long on work, losing their main man Flash to the corporate world, and their increasing farm operations. They are offering their very best confirmed AI cows on this sale! Dean Volk brings with him along with a great set of cattle, a wealth of knowledge of the Simmental and cattle business with him. The Volk name is synonymous with high quality breeding stock. Dean and I have known each other since the Junior National days and I value his input cattle and overall cattle knowledge immensely. We are committed to supporting our customers with every marketing and sales opportunity as well as supporting our junior members and their families with a great team at the shows! Terms of the sale are cash or good check payable immediately upon the conclusion of the sale and before the animals will be moved. Seller will reserve the right to require a certified check as settlement before releasing any cattle.

All animals and merchandise will be at the buyers risk at the fall of the hammer. However, the seller will provide for the safety of each animal for a reasonable amount of time following the sale. Neither the owners, sale manager, auctioneer, or affiliated personnel may be held responsible for any accidents that may occur.

All animals will sell to the highest bidder. Any disputes or challenges regarding bidding will be settled by the auctioneer and his decision will be final. Announcements made from the block will take precedence over statements in the sale.

Bred females have been satisfactorily examined for pregnancy. They are guaranteed bred at sale time and are assumed to breeders without further guarantee. Due dates listed for bred females are the results of said examination and/or known breeding dates are intended to be used as estimates of actual calving dates. No guarantee, expressed or implied, is made to the animal’s ability to produce transferable embryos with the exception of those selling as “open and ready to flush.”

The sellers reserve the rights to two (2) successful flushes of no less than six (6) eggs per flush on the females selling. Flushing will be done at the sellers expense and the buyer’s convenience.
