‫ توجﻪ الﻜﻔاح الﻘاﺑﻀﺔ‬.. ‫الﺤوﻛمﺔ اﻻﺳﺘﺮاتﻴﺠﻴﺔ‬ ‫ ﻫو الﺨطﺔ ﻻﺳﺘمﺮارﻳﺔ الﻨﻈاﻡ‬، ‫تﻨﻈﻴﻢ الﺴﻴاﺳاﺕ واﻹجﺮاﺀاﺕ الﺪاﺧﻠﻴﺔ لﻠﻜﻔاح‬

Human Resource Department held its first Idhafa meeting to empower the general culture of the company was a competition between the departments with a high level of affinity, and prizes were given to the winning departments at the final stage of the meeting. From this verse Human Resources Department at Al Kifah Holding derived its new strategic philosophy for the development of human resources at the company. Spirit is one of the greatest creations of God that’s why it should be respected and appreciated in order to get what we aspire to of skills growth and cognitive development for our employees. Even though Al Kifah Security Guarding was founded in January 2012, it was able to keep up and compete with its counterparts from other security companies. Its competitive policy is based on several factors, most importantly the expansion in the recruitment in the national staff and to create vacancies that are compatible with their aspirations. In order to achieve this policy, Al Kifah Security Company raised the workers’ wages which led to hiring more than 80 employees to join the company. What are the main axes that were included in Al Kifah strategy to serve the society? - We strived to have a deep strategic thinking in achieving social service. We tried to devise a methodology in our plan, and that includes all levels and needs of society. Our strategies and new plans were based on our vast experience in serving the society many years ago. Our plans will include supporting the society in all the fields that Al Kifah sectors work in as we supported the manufacturers, traders and investment through the Chamber of Commerce and our close relationship with them. We also care about our society and we work hand in hand with the government to do our job towards them such as (limited income citizens, orphans,

our own standards to protect the environment. Additionally we were keen on to make the social service of this to committee to reach the internal society of the company. Al Kifah Holding Company have more than 8000 employees therefore we have decided that the committee should allocate part of its tasks in serving the employees of the company, and to work on innovating programs that supports them. Al Kifah Carton Box Factory achieved its vision of localizing their products Al Kifah Carton Box Factory is one of the pioneers of paper products in the Eastern Province, which most local productive companies relies on in packaging their products. It is the most distinctive factory among Al Kifah’s group of factories due to its high standards of quality and safety. The factory was built in 1416H. It has adapted a strategic policy that localizes production lines and replaces the imported product with a locally made one. To implement this vision Al Kifah Carton Box Company searched for products that can be locally made. Today Al Kifah Carton Box Company is establishing a new site estimated at 1200 cubic meters in collaboration with AlKifah Contracting Company for construction. This site was allocated for a new production line; Al Kifah is at the lead of this product. The process of this line is to refine paper to produce cup holder duplex kind. The first of its kind in Saudi Arabia and its production capacity is estimated at 8 tons per month. The contract of importing manufacturing equipment was signed by Mr. Wael Shahata GM of Al Kifah Print, and Mr. Mohammed Farabi Fairouz the Project Manager. The production of this line will begin in March 2014.

Today the factory has more than 30% of Saudi manpower that works in the production lines. The reason behind this career stability is the advantages offered by the factory for the workers to work in relatively comfortable environment compared with other factories, in addition to the services for the employee inside the plant. The IT Department Launches “HelpDesk” Program The IT department launched a help program which is called “HelpDesk” in July 2013. It is a program implemented by major international companies for the substantive and technical support to users, and this application had a great acclaim between the users and customers of the Information Technology Department at Al Kifah. The program manages your requests for assistance, and helps to give accurate reports that help in decisionmaking, and facilitate inquiries and investigating applications quickly and effectively. This assistance program is to facilitate services and applications in all the technical aspects such as using computers and peripherals, network, e-mail, telephone and other services, which lets you browse with ease and then follow your order in opening a ticket to solve your problem then closing it. Eng. Ammar Ghazal Manager of IT Department talked about managing the “HelpDesk” program, he said “services provided by “HelpDesk” program are not limited to technical

management. The program covers requests to the Department of the Treasury, and management as well as maintenance services, it also covers the applications for users of all Al Kifah sister companies. The first phase of implementing the project has been completed and the second phase has already begun in Al Kifah Precast in the insurance department and Human Resources Department at Al Kifah Holding, as well as Al Kifah Private Schools”. KiCE Launches Containerized Batching Plant KiCE Construction is a top supplier in the Saudi Ready Mix Concrete Equipment industry; it has launched the new compact (containerized) batching plant that was added to the production lines recently. This plant is manufactured in AlUyun- Al- Ahssa area, which can produce 120 cu m per hour. In our strategic plans Al Kifah expects that all their cattle will consume all the produced feed, and livestock is estimated at 5000 animals and we are aspiring to double it. The next investment plan is producing 100% organic dates, fruits and vegetables, and to have their production line without containing any chemicals or inorganic materials, Al Kifah aspires to have an organic dates packing plant. For the synergy with the rest of Al Kifah companies, Al Kifah farms is integrated with its sister companies by having the kitchens of the factories for the employees filled with a sufficient amount of stock, vegetables and fruits which can be produced locally.
