Dyke relocation in Westenholte
Current situation houses
The dyke next to the Westenholte district of Zwolle is being relocated 300 metres inland. Two channels are also being excavated. These interventions will ensure that the river IJssel can discharge more water and that the city Zwolle and the hinterland are protected.
