ABOUT RUN 2 TREE CREATIONS

"Food is a material with endless source of inspiration." Ms.Winnie Ngai is a Food Designer based in Hong Kong and Taipei. With her partner Mr. Eric Cheung, the Co-Founder of Run 2 Tree Creations, the first Hong Kong Food Design Studio established in 2012, we have focused on food interactive program and food design projects for 6 years. She is an young design talent, graduated in Hong Kong Design Centre - Design Incubation Programme (DIP) with over 15 years design experiences. “People love to hear stories and storytelling is our strength.” Combining stories with food design, is a new way of market strategy, it always brings up more powerful impacts. Winnie also believes “Food is a social glue.” Food is an powerful material to connect different backgrounds of people, corporates and customers. Beside bussiness, she concerns about the community linkage between the society and leads her team to operate Social Design Projects to make people “PLAY’ Design. Mr. Eric Cheung, the winner of Youth Dream Maker 2016 and Good Seed Fund 2016, is an young talented entrepreneur with experienced business management and marketing background, based in Hong Kong and Kyoto, Japan. With his silver tongue and foresight, he gains the trust and reputation from clients. He leads his team organised over 600 workshops, events & exhibitions in the past 6 years. They had rich experiences on executing food up-cycling and eating enjoyment programs. Existing clients are include Starbuck Coffee, Habitu, Meyer, Towngas, Hung Fook Tong, Calbee…etc.

Food is an endless source of inspiration. In Food Design, we explore new ways to enjoy, to enhance the visual impact and create desire on Food. Food doesn't only concern our stomachs. It nourishes our eyes, thoughts, and sense of touch. Food is a social glue, it brings joy and connection. By building playful stories, Food Design enlarge the experience to trigger all senses.
