June 8, 2020 Dear Ivy Hill Community, As the days get longer and the temperatures heat up, we find the need to send a follow up communication to the Residents of Ivy Hill regarding non-golfer's walking on the golf course property. We appreciate those that have respected the guidelines of being on the golf course as described in earlier communications. For those that may have missed that notice, we will outline for you where and when you are able to walk on the golf course. What is permitted: • We welcome residents of the community to walk on cart paths only. • Walkers are welcome to walk on cart paths only early in the morning and later in the evenings. What is not permitted: • Walkers are not permitted on the golf course at any time when golfers are playing. (This is for your safety and for the benefit of the golfers... if you have ever been hit by a golf ball or been the golfer that has hit someone, you understand the danger.) • Walkers are not permitted anywhere on the golf course except the cart paths. • Walkers are not permitted at any time to walk on the road that runs beside the driving range. That road is private and is marked accordingly. It is for your safety and the privacy of the residents. If you are found walking on the road, you will be notified that you are Trespassing. • Walkers and golfers alike are not permitted inside the fenced area of the residence adjacent to Hole 6 Green, 7 Tee and 16 Green. Violators are Trespassing and will be warned, and the authorities notified. We will have Golf Course staff patrolling the course who will be enforcing the walker policy. Again, thank you for your support of Ivy Hill Golf Course. If you have questions or feedback, please contact me directly at earl@runkandpratt.com or 434-237-2268. I will be happy to hear from you. Sincerely, Earl Prince V.P. of Golf & Hospitality Services Director of Finance and Human Resources Runk & Pratt Companies
