Editor’s Note Greetings, As editor, I am honored to present to you Rural Leader Magazine's Scholars of Collegiate Distinction (SCD) inaugural edition. Rural Leader Magazine is pleased to recognize exemplary indiviudals who attained either an adult education diploma or higher education. The SCD Honorees represent the rich talent, skill, and vast knowledge that can be found in small town America. My mission is to uplift and to encourage individuals from small communties globally to stive continually for excellence. It is further important to encourage both the young and old that what they do each day matters. Without further ado, I present to you the 2017 Scholars of Collegiate Distinction Honorees.
