Application method
When to apply? Apply down every poly-tunnel leg row at first flowering in April-May, especially in crops with high thrips risk (second to third year crops; former thrips sites; fields bordering thrips-infested sites). Replace as required. How to apply? Attach the traps to poly-tunnel legs with the base of the trap at flower height. Use poly-tunnel clips, protected by plastic or cloth backing, to the end posts; tie the traps securely to all intermediate posts with string or clips.
