River Valley Pioneer Museum – 9 am – noon & 1 – 4 pm Featuring the 33rd annual Sagebrush Painters Art Exhibit

TCRA Rodeo Performance – Canadian Rodeo Arena – 7 pm $5.00 admission, 5 & under free $10,000 added money Events include: Bareback Riding, Saddle Broncs, Calf Roping, Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Ranch Bronc Riding, Kid’s Calf Scramble, Mutton’ Bustin’, Open Steer Saddling, and Box K Cattle Bounty Bull

Saturday, July 3rd 

Welcome & Information – Canadian Visitors’ Center – 11 am - 3 pm

Parade: “American Heroes” - Courthouse Lawn – 10 am. No Entry fee or preregistration, check-in and judging begins at 9 am at Wildcat Stadium.

Arts & Crafts Fair - Courthouse lawn, 9 am - 4 pm, no pre-registration, $50/booth, set-up begins no earlier than 7 am

Turtle Race - Courthouse parking lot, register from 8 - 9 am, race starts immediately after parade. NO SNAPPING TURTLES ALLOWED. Sponsored by Hemphill County Sheriff’s Department and Crew.

Hot Dog Lunch - 25¢ hot dogs - Lowe’s Pay ‘N Save parking lot after parade.

Old Timer’s Reunion & BBQ – Canadian Elementary School Cafeteria, 11:30 am – 1 pm. Open to all. Tickets are $10. 70+ eat free.

17th Annual Water Polo – 5TH & PURCELL. Sign-up begins at 12 noon. Sponsored by Canadian VFD.

The Citadelle Art Foundation – 6th & Nelson – Special Hours: 1-4 pm, Mary Cassatt Exhibit. $10 per person, $8 seniors, kids free. 806-323-8899 for more info.

River Valley Pioneer Museum – 1 pm – 5 pm featuring the 33rd annual Sagebrush Painters Art Exhibit - Artist Reception, 2 - 4 pm

Palace Theatre Free Movie - 3:00 pm. Cool off and experience the premiere digital projection and THX sound system of the Palace Theatre.

16th Annual Great Canadian Duck Race - Hemphill County Duck Ponds, 6 pm. 3 races, 3 prizes. $5/ticket. Sponsored by Canadian Rotary Club.

Watermelon Feast - Hemphill County Duck Ponds, 5:30 pm. Free watermelon for all. (Watermelon Donated by Lowe’s Pay ‘N Save)
