Women’s Bar Association hosts intimate lunch with Presiding Justice Alan Scheinkman BY ROB ABRUZZESE The Record

Nearly every month, the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association hosts a “Lunch with a Judge” event at which its members get an opportunity to sit down with an

invited judge and have lunch with him or her in an intimate setting. The BWBA sat down with the presiding justice of the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, Hon. Alan Scheinkman.

The topics vary from judge to judge and meeting to meeting. However, on Wednesday, Sept. 2, Judge Scheinkman talked about a topic that was off-limits when he sat down with the BWBA a year ago — the court's backlog.
