3 easy steps to sweeten someone’s Valentine’s Day Nearly everyone has more than one special person in their life. Whether it’s a neighbor who lets the dog out, the friend who watches the kids in a pinch or a colleague who makes Mondays a little more bearable, loved ones make our days better. A simple thank you or a small thank you gift can go a long way in showing those people just how much you appreciate them. A recent survey revealed that most people do have multiple “loves” in their lives. In fact, significant others aren’t the only ones who get Valentine’s Day gifts these days. This survey, which was commissioned by Rich Products, a leading provider to foodservice, in-store bakery and retail marketplaces, showed that Valentine’s Day now extends way beyond that one special person. Forty four percent of people said that they purchase gifts for multiple people on Valentine’s Day. When asked to identify their “other loves,” friends were at the top of the list; and surprisingly, among their favorite gifts were fresh baked goods ranging from cookies, cupcakes and other sweet treats. So to sweeten your relationships all year round, small thank you gifts are both welcomed and appreciated.
And keep in mind it’s not the size of the gift that matters. Survey results show that good things come in small, personalized packages.Give the gift of deliciousnessTo get started, remember showing your appreciation doesn’t have to be expensive and time consuming. Gifts can be purchased on your weekly (or daily) trip to the grocery store then personalized and decorated with things that you have around the house. You can stock up on these inexpensive supplies at your local craft store. Here are some simple, low-cost steps to show someone you care: Step 1: Visit the bakery department in your local grocery store for a variety of fresh and delicious options. From frosted cookies, to cinnamon rolls, cupcakes and doughnuts, you’ll find a treat to please everyone on your list - and there’s no baking involved. Step 2: Personalize each gift by selecting a baked good and using basic art or wrapping supplies (think ribbon spools and tissue paper leftover from Christmas) that you have around the house to dress up your gifts. Step 3: Attach a personalized, handwritten note on a piece of
construction paper or cardstock. Cut the paper to size, punch a hole to thread a ribbon through and tie it to your gift.Other ideas for a quick and easy do-it-yourself ways to dress up your gift: * Homemade gift bags: Cut hearts out of construction paper and glue onto a lunch bag. * Decorative plates: Find inexpensive, seasonal or colored ceramic plates at your local discount
store and wrap with cellophane and a bow. * Sweet surprise: Grab a small gift box, place some tissue inside, add your selected baked good and tie with a colored bow. Make sure that the baked good is secure in the box. You don’t want it to crumble. Care of ladera ranch parkway and street trees
Throughout the community of Ladera Ranch, the character of the neighborhoods has been reinforced with the landscape design. The parkways (the area between the street and the sidewalk) in the neighborhoods have been lined with street trees and grass. These parkways and trees are an integral part of the overall plan of Ladera Ranch. As the trees mature, it will create a beautiful look within the community, similar to the canopy effect seen in neighborhoods of older, wellestablished communities. Did you know that the care and nurturing of that parkway and those trees is your responsibility? LARMAC will trim the trees, but all other aspects of the care and maintenance are up to the homeowner, including watering, fertilizing, tree stake maintenance and removal, mowing and replacement, if necessary. With your labor and love, we will have beautiful trees and lush grass throughout Ladera Ranch. Your assistance in preserving and bolstering the vision of the community with mature street trees lining the streets is greatly appreciated and will serve to maintain Ladera Ranch as one of Orange County’s finest and most unique communities. Care and Maintenance Tips for your Parkway and Street Tree(s) DO NOT WATER DAILY. The roots of your trees and turf need air to thrive, so you must take time off to let the soil dry out. Before watering probe down 6-10 inches for your turf and 24-36 inches for your tree into the parkway soil and check the moisture content in the soil. If it is moist, then you do not need to water. If it is dry, then moderate Page 4
watering should be completed. If the Parkway soil is saturated, shut down the irrigation system to that area and let it dry out for several weeks before you resume watering. Watering should be done in the early morning, right before the sun comes up. This is when there is the least amount of wind and the lowest rate of evaporation. Winter – Your water should be off during the rainy season and depending on the exposure of your parkway strip area it can be off for the entire season if it does not get direct sun light. If you must water, no more than twice per week for a short time is all the top roots of the turf needs. 1-2 deep waterings with a hose for the trees can be accomplished near the end of winter as the trees are waking up and getting ready to grow. Spring – The weather is getting warmer. Try 3 to 4 times per week dependent upon soil moisture and exposure. Summer – The weather is warm to hot. Try 4 to 5 days per week dependent upon soil moisture and exposure; with a day off before you mow the lawn. Fall – The weather is cooling and the days getting shorter. Try 3 to 4 times per week dependent upon soil moisture and exposure. How long should the irrigation run? We recommend consulting with Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) on this matter. The On Tap newsletter that comes with your monthly water bill has seasonal water use guidelines on the back or you can access the same information on the SMWD web site at www.smwd.com/wateringindex.htm Use multiple start times. The
The Ladera Ranch News
most efficient way to water is to have more than one start time. This will depend on your automatic controller features, but if you typically run your irrigation for 6 minutes, try setting your timer for 3 minutes, 2 separate times, approximately 30 minutes apart. This will help reduce run-off and encourage a deeper root system. At least 16 inches from the base of the tree trunk should be free of grass and any other planting including annual color and topped with mulch. This will allow water to get to the roots of the tree and prevent damage to the trunk from weed eaters and mowers used to trim the grass. The parkway tree shouldn’t need any additional fertilizer, other than what is applied to the turf grass. How to replace you Street Tree if it dies or is damaged. Replacement of a dead or damaged street tree is the responsibility of the property owner. The tree must be replaced with the same variety of tree in at least a 24” box size. LARMAC is proud to offer a replacement program, utilizing the services of O’Connell Landscape, LARMAC’s landscape maintenance
contractor. O’Connell will assure that you receive the correct variety of tree and install it properly. The cost to the homeowner to have their street tree replaced through the program is $225.00. This price includes procurement, delivery, and labor to remove existing tree and/ or rootball, labor to install new tree, amendments and any other related materials. Trees will be guaranteed for 90 days. During the 90-day period, O’Connell Landscape Maintenance will monitor the tree and leave a “door hanger” with any recommendations for the homeowner to take. Should you wish to replace your street tree yourself, you will be required to plant at least a 24 box size tree of the same variety. Planting detail is provided in this pamphlet for your reference. If you would like to arrange to have your street tree replaced, please contact your LARMAC Community Services Representative at (949) 218-0900. Ladera Ranch Street Tree Planting Detail

capistrano Mission PROJECT to lure back the swallows
Mission San Juan Capistrano’s enterprising Swallows Vocalization Project is now underway for the fourth and final season, an effort to lure the popular birds onto the mission grounds. The Swallows Vocalization Project incorporates speakers that play swallows courtship calls and songs in an effort to lure the swallows, which migrate from Argentina each March before returning to Argentina in October. The number of swallows nesting at the mission has diminished over time because of urbanization, which has given the swallows more options to build their mud homes. The Swallows Vocalization Project idea came from swallows expert Dr. Charles Brown, who was summoned to the mission in 2012 from the University of Tulsa, where he is a professor of biological sciences. Dr. Brown’s idea has worked. Swallows that flew overhead and might not have explored the mission and considered it a place to nest are now descending to the mission grounds, where they can build nests. “The recording is of courtship songs that males use to attract females. And males would be attracted too because they are very social birds,” Dr. Brown said. “It’s a matter of attracting them in; we know they are overhead and in the area.” The project involves a systematic program of playing the courtship calls and songs a few times a day, when the weather is good and during the times the swallows would be foraging. Dr. Brown has suggested that this be the final year of the Swallows Vocalization Project so that he can
incorporate a new phase in attracting the bird. Stayed tuned for Dr. Brown’s next idea. To set up an interview with Dr. Brown, please email joe@ juvecreative.com. About Mission San Juan Capistrano: Known as the “Jewel of the Missions,” Mission San Juan Capistrano is a historic landmark and museum that boasts of quality permanent exhibits featuring original artifacts as well as traveling and temporary exhibits on a wide variety of topics. The site itself serves as a living outdoor museum with original buildings constructed by Native Americans in the 18th century including the Serra Chapel, Great Stone Church, and the original padres’ quarters of the South Wing. The Mission was founded on November 1, 1776 by Padre Junipero Serra as the seventh in the chain of the twenty-one California missions established by Spain, and is Orange County’s only mission. Every year, over 50,000 students visit the Mission and engage in an inspirational learning experience via the Mission
Matters programming, as part of their State required California history studies. Mission San Juan Capistrano is owned by the Diocese of Orange and is supported by the Mission Preservation Foundation, which is comprised of business and community leaders committed to ensuring the long term preservation and viability of Orange County’s only Mission. Local Dentist Dr. Michael tessier Discusses Sleep Problems including Snoring and Sleep Apnea Snoring, or noisy breathing while asleep affects slightly more men than women. There are several reasons for this, including Dr. Michael Tessier flabby tissue in the throat, loose or long soft palates, or obstructed nasal passages. Sleep apnea or the temporary cessation of breathing is a result of some of that redundant tissue or the base of the tongue covering the wind- pipe. Snoring and sleep apnea prevent a good, deep night’s sleep, which can lead to a sleepy day, even narcolepsy which causes people to fall completely asleep during the work day. Undue stress on the heart can also be a result of a poor night’s sleep. According to a Yale University study published in the New England Journal of Medicine has found that obstructive sleep apnea can triple the risk of stroke or death. 4% of adult men and 2% of adult women in this country suffer from the malady, including, according to a 2003 study of three hundred players, about 14% of the National Football League. While there are surgical procedures used today to cut away redundant tissue and open up the breathing passage
not everyone needs surgery to fix this problem.. Alternatively, I make a noninvasive removable oral appliance (like a retainer) that comfortably repositions the lower jaw forward, thereby clearing the base of the tongue away from the windpipe minimizing breathing restrictions to give you more oxygen while you are sleeping. I have tried several designs, both on myself and patients with similar problems, and have finally found THE WINNER. My wife and my neighbors, and all the patients for whom I’ve made this appliance and their neighbors, are very grateful. We all awaken more refreshed in the morning because we got a more profound, more restful nights sleep. Incidentally, a patient told me today that in a hospital sleep study he had 168 sleep apnea episodes without the appliance, and seventeen episodes with it. Also, he had a seventeen per cent reduction in blood oxygen while sleeping without the appliance, and only a three per cent reduction with it. If your sleep habits are disturbing other people, before going the surgery route, a call to Dr. Tessier’s Office for a complimentary consultation appointment may be in order. Dr. Michael Tessier’s office is located at 28562 Oso at the intersection of Oso and Antonio parkway in the center near the carwash and Starbucks. The telephone number is 949-459-7212.

Valentine’s Day is a great opportunity for guys showcase their most creative and romantic appreciation for their mates. Anyone can simply go out for a nice dinner and nightcap, but guys will win extra ‘awww’ points with women if they take it a step beyond the norm and get creative with their Valentine’s Day plans. Women like to feel special and unique as opposed to a cliche or societal norm. As I have learned from countless causual conversations with women, they really do appreciate when a man goes above and beyond to impress them on days like this. Check out these 5 great ideas that are sure to sweep to anyone woman off her feet on this romantic day!
1. Candlelight Dinner - How easy is it for you to just pick a woman up and whisk her away to a nice romantic restaurant for dinner where you don’t have to lift a finger?! Instead, show your lady that you put some real thought, effort, and energy into the occasion. Surprise her by cooking one of her favorite meals and enjoying it by candlelight. This is not only a great way to show off your cooking skills but also to showcase how great of a catch you really are when you combine great conversation into the mix. To really make it romantic, dress up as if you were taking her out, splash on that cologne she loves so much, and have a small surprise gift waiting for her at the end of dinner. 2. Romantic Scavenger Hunt Want to take Valentine’s Day to the next level? Try leading your lady on a romantic scavenger hunt throughout the day that ends with a jaw dropping surprise. You can start the scavenger hunt by sending her surprise flowers to work (yes her job so everyone, not just her, can see where you’re going with this idea). Include a mysterious
you want to sweeten the deal buy her a nice comfortable pair of pajamas to lounge around in with you. Wear your most comfortable pj’s as well. Sometimes there’s nothing better than lounging around in comfy pj’s with your woman watching TV and enjoying each other’s company. Simple and sweet. There you have it, 5 great Valentine’s Day ideas to show your lady how much you care. These ideas will require a little thought, good planning, and a little extra effort. In the end when you look into her eyes, she flashes that million watt smile, and she tells you how much she loved everything, and plants a big wet one on you, you will know how much you made her day. Lastly and most importantly no matter what you do treatment. Follow this up with a nice for your lady on Valentine’s Day, be romantic dinner and it will be you who sure to look her in her eyes and tell ends up getting a surprise at the end. her how much you love, appreciate, and adore her with the utmost sincer-
note that begins the scavenger hunt with a few vague instructions for her to follow so it leads to the next part of the scavenger hunt. Make sure your notes and instructions are very short with concrete details, times, and/or locations, etc. Ex. 1219 Rose Street Downtown 4pm ask for John. As you ‘anonymously’ reveal more details throughout the day, her heart will be racing with anticipation and she will be kept on her toes waiting to see what you’re going to do next. To you psych majors, when you keep a woman guessing in a positive light about you the more her interest level in you will go up. Waaay up. 3. Massage/Spa Date - It’s no secret that women love to be pampered. Hair, nails, skin, you name it they do it. Why not surprise your lady with a romantic day at the best spa in town. Let her get everything she’s ever wanted at a spa all in the same day. She will definitely appreciate this gesture from you. Her stresses, worries, and negative energy will all melt away in these moments which will help her to relax. To make it really enjoyable, join her in the spa
4. Inside Picnic - Don’t have a lot of money to spend or don’t know your way around the kitchen? Having an indoor picnic is a great idea that guys can do for their ladies on Valentine’s Day. Make sure it’s done right: a picnic blanket and a basket of food, drinks, and some of her favorite sweet goodies should do the trick. To really kick it up a notch, light some scented candles, sprinkle the surrounding area with rose petals, and have some soft music playing in the background to make the mood even more romantic.
ity. When she hears this, it’s almost certain she’ll be head over heels or remember why she fell in love with you to begin with. Remember guys, women fall in love between their ears not their eyes.
5. Movie Night - Not too creative? Light in the wallet? There’s still hope for you. Invite your lady over, order in, and snuggle up for the night and watch some of her favorite movies. Yes that means the chick flicks. If The Ladera Ranch News

A Night with Gatsby Benefits Local Foster Youth at the 2015 Anaheim Ducks Jubilee Photos by Ann Chatillon Ducks team captain Ryan Getzlaf with Tracy and Mike Bilek Flapper dresses, top hats, and tails abounded at The Colony House in Anaheim in support of Orangewood Children’s Foundation. A sold-out crowd of 500 guests joined the Anaheim Ducks for their Great Gatsby style “Ducks Jubilee” casino night, bringing a roaring ‘20s retrofit to the annual fan-favorite costumed cocktail event. Ducks players, dressed in tails, top hats, and gold bow-ties and pocket squares, mingled with the crowd, posed for photos, and joined guests at the gaming tables. The event committee was led by Orangewood’s 44 Women for Children auxiliary members Kelly Bozza and Stacey Kinney, and the title sponsor was The Klein Family (Bill and Jenny Klein and daughter Whitney were in attendance). Guests enjoyed ‘20s style cocktails which included the Gin Rickey, Manhattan and The French 75. There was also a champagne tower, various buffet stations, catered by 24 Carrots Catering and Events the buffet stations located throughout the venue had a Great Gatsby Inspired menu which included International cheese display, grilled petite lamb chops, shrimp cocktails, phyllo-encrusted spinach stuffed mushrooms, gorgonzola crusted beef tenderloin crostini, mashed potato martini station and a carving station with prime rib. At the floating dessert display guests enjoyed Salted caramel tart, crème brulee spoon, a yummy deconstructed snickers in a Ducks player Corey Perry, Michele Ryan and Tim Ryan (Ducks EVP shot glass, chocolate pot de crème, mini lavender bars, key lime tarts and & COO and Orangewood board member) pecan bourbon tarts The musical entertainment, Blazing Pianos, got the crowd out on the dance floor, dancing to cover tunes from the ‘20s to today. A jazz trio provided themed background music for guests in “The Captain’s Club” casino room, where Vegas-style games of Blackjack, Craps and Roulette were offered. An extensive variety of silent auction items were available for bidding. Guests could also purchase tickets for five opportunity prizes. Up for grabs were Anaheim Ducks Autographed Wine Package Item; a basket with an Anaheim Ducks #10 Corey Perry Autographed Jersey, Edmonton Oilers #4 Taylor Hall Autographed Jersey and four (4) Plaza Level tickets to the April 1, 2015 Anaheim Ducks vs. Edmonton Oilers game. There was also a Toshiba Slim LED 40” TV; a Strider Paddleboard package from Jimmy Styks including one paddleboard, adjustable paddle, leash, fin and storage bag with 2 paddleboard sessions/ 1 Kayak During a brief program, Ducks Head Coach Bruce Boudreau welcomed the crowd. Boudreau drew laughter and applause when he commented on his top hat and tails attire, saying, “It’s been suggested that I bear a striking resemblance to a board game character. But, no, I am not the Monopoly man!” Orangewood CEO, Chris Simonsen, thanked the crowed and the Ducks organization for supporting the Foundation, saying “Thanks especially to Ducks player Matt Belesky, event co-chair Stacey Kinney and Ducks the Ducks players who are so generous and gracious with their time at player Devante Smith-Pelly tonight’s event.” Also in the crowd were Ducks co-owner and long-time Orangewood supporter, Susan Samueli (founding chair of the Orangewood’s 44 Women for Children auxiliary and also an Orangewood board member); Ducks players including Team Captain Ryan Getzlaf, NHL 2012 All-Star Corey Perry, Cam Fowler, and goalie Frederik (Freddy) Andersen; title sponsors Jenny and Bill Klein and daughter Whitney Klein; Kelly and Jim Mazzo; past 44 Women board chair Lupe Erwin; and Orangewood board member Sandi Jackson and husband Doug Jackson. Founded in 1981, Orangewood Children’s Foundation is one of the leading providers of services to current and former foster youth. Their mission is to provide life-changing prevention and intervention programs for abused and neglected children, young adults and at-risk families through one-on-one support and community partnerships to end the cycle of child abuse. Last year they helped over 1,500 children and teens with programs that prepare them to make a successful transition from the foster care system to independent adulthood. Their programs focus on education, employment, housing, life skills and basic needs. Without the Foundation’s support and guidance, these children can become homeless, unemployed or incarcerated. LOCAL RESIDENT LISA DALE HONORED BY Mission Hospital Foundation with the Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick Vision Award Longtime member of the Mission Hospital family, Lisa Dale fully embraces the Spirit of Giving and supports the hospital’s mission, vision and values. Lisa Dale has been a devoted member of the Mission Hospital family for more than 20 years. To recognize the many lives that Lisa has touched over the years and her extensive impact on the hospital, Mission Hospital Foundation is honoring Lisa with the Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick Vision Award. The Vision Award is named for Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick, vice president, advocacy and ministry formation at Mission Hospital. This prestigious award celebrates an individual or group for living the core values of Mission Hospital (Dignity, Service, Excellence and Justice) and working to bring people together to foster a shared responsibility for the quality of life in our community. “Lisa truly embraces the heritage of the Sisters of St. Joseph, genuinely living our mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus and in so many ways, helping to improve the health and quality of life in our community,” shares Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick. A brilliant business woman and chief executive officer of Seabreeze Management, Lisa serves as a warm and compassionate community ambassador. She regularly draws community members from across the region into our hospital family to enable us to further extend the healing ministry of Jesus.
Lisa served as one of the first Foundation Board Members and created the foundation’s incredibly successful Holiday Gala. Over the last 19 years the Holiday Gala has raised millions of dollars to enable the hospital to support the community’s greatest needs. Today, Lisa shares her inspiring leadership skills serving as the chair of Valiant Women, a Mission Hospital fundraising support group devoted to meeting the medical, educational, emotional and spiritual needs of women in our community. A member of the foundation’s Philanthropist Circle, Lisa graciously supports the hospital and encourages her friends, family and colleagues to do the same. www.mission4health.com. 27700 Medical Center Road • Mission Viejo, CA 92691. T: (949) 364-1400 A Ministry founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange. Through Valiant Women, Lisa played a significant role in the hospital’s recent acquisition of breast tomosynthesis 3D mammography. This incredible technology provides a clearer, more accurate view of the breast and allows doctors to more effectively pinpoint the size, shape and location of any abnormalities. The result is better detection, increased accuracy and greater peace of mind for our patients. Mission Hospital Foundation will officially present Lisa with the Sister Martha Ann Fitzpatrick Vision Award and celebrate her Spirit of Giving at the Philanthropy Circle Dinner in April.

The History of Valentine’s Day: Who was St. Valentine? By Scott Brodie This history of Valentine’s Day is shrouded in mystery. While every February 14, Valentine’s Day, couples send romantic Valentines, no one knows the true history of Valentine’s Day. Many believe the history of Valentine’s Day can be found in the question, “Who was Saint Valentine?” The Roman Catholic Church has three saints named Valentine, or Valentinus. Of these three, the history of Valentine’s Day supposedly honors the first Saint Valentine. So, who was Saint Valentine? Saint Valentine was a third-century priest in Rome. He was martyred. Any further answer to, “Who was Saint Valentine?,” is speculation. Yet, there are three theories about the history of Valentine’s Day. Each attempts to answer, “Who was Saint Valentine?” Who Was Saint Valentine? A Priest Marrying Couples. According to this theory on the history of Valentine’s Day, Saint Valentine was a priest during Emperor Claudius II’s reign. Because Claudius II believed single men were better soldiers than married men, he outlawed marriage for young men. Saint Valentine did not adhere to Claudius II’s proclamation, however, and continued to perform marriages in secret. When he was Page 14
discovered, Saint Valentine was imprisoned and sentenced to death. Who Was Saint Valentine? A Priest Freeing Christians. Another theory about the history of Valentine’s Day contends that Saint Valentine was sentenced to death for free Christians from Roman prisons. This is the least romantic history of Valentine’s Day, but it portrays Saint Valentine as a heroic and strong figure. Who Was Saint Valentine? The First Valentine. According to this romantic theory of the history of Valentine’s Day, Saint Valentine sent the first valentine. He supposedly fell in love while imprisoned. Perhaps it was the jailor’s daughter who he loved. Whoever the lady was, he sent her a letter signed, “From your Valentine.” The truth is, no one can answer, “Who was Saint Valentine?” Since it remains unknown, the question for today is not, “Who was Saint Valentine?” Rather the question is, “Who is Saint Valentine now?” Whoever he was, Saint Valentine is remembered as a strong, heroic and romantic figure. It is no wonder lovers have been sending love letters in his name, as valentines, ever since the Middle Ages.

Top Ten Valentines Gifts for Women By Debra Proctor Choose from the top ten Valentines Gifts for women and you can’t go wrong. Women place much more importance on Valentine’s Day than men do, so the last thing you want to do is gloss over this important day. Show her she’s special by giving her one of the best Valentine’s gifts possible. Here’s a list of the top ten Valentines gifts for women to give you some great ideas. #1 - Get Away Trip For the Valentines experience of a lifetime, treat her to a romantic getaway trip. You can go all out and book a trip to St. Maarten or Belize or stay local and have a romantic weekend at a bed and breakfast or spa. Either way, she’ll know she’s special with a gift like this. #2 - Flowers There’s not a woman alive who doesn’t appreciate flowers and now giving flowers is easier than ever. You can go the traditional route and order from your local florist or save some time and order online. If you love the idea of giving her flowers but need to save some cash, most grocery and discount stores have live bouquets. Pick a pretty bouquet, choose one of the vases, add a pretty bow and you’re all set. #3 - Handcrafted Gift Are you handy? If you are, think about your hobby and how you can use it to create a one-of-a-kind gift. If you’re not so handy, shop local stores that sell handcrafted items. You’ll usually find these tucked away in shopping strips or in the historic or tourist section of town. If you prefer to shop online, try Etsy. com. This entire website is filled with all handcrafted items for you to choose from. #4 - Personalized Gift When you give a personalized gift, it tells the woman you love that you went the extra mile and actually put some thought into the gift. Shop websites like www.ThingsRemembered.com or www.PersonalCreations for items you can have engraved, monogrammed or to have a special picture turned into a canvas print. #5 - Jewelry Jewelry is right up there with candy and flowers. Your decision here revolves around your budget and what kind of statement you want to make. Fine jewelry shows a woman that you are getting pretty serious while less expensive fashion jewelry is just fun to receive. Shop for fine jewelry at stores like Jared.com, Zales.com and Kay.com. You can find a good assortment of pretty fashion jewelry at any major department store. Necklaces and
bracelets are easiest to buy as you don’t have to get a certain size. #6 - Breakfast in Bed If you want to really impress the women in your life, treat her to breakfast in bed. Clueless about what to cook and how to do it? Let AskMen. com give you some help with their breakfast in bed article. #7 - Love Letter Writing a love letter might make you feel silly, but your loved one will be thrilled. For those of you who need help doing this (and who doesn’t?) read this article on How to Write a Love Letter> for step-by-step instructions. #8 - Romantic Dinner Do you have a special restaurant as a couple? Where did you go for your first date? Make reservations at your special restaurant or recreate your first date and relive the memories. Women love taking trips down memory lane. #9 - Creative Dates If the love of your life is adventurous, dinner and a movie won’t impress her. Instead, give her the thrill of a lifetime by planning something adventurous and exciting. Look creatively at the area you live. What are the special tourist attractions? Do you live in wine country? Take a tour of a winery and have a picnic complete with wine and cheese. Is it warm in your part of the country on Valentine’s Day? Try whitewater rafting. For thrill seekers, set up a date for bungee jumping, hang gliding, hot air balloon or a helicopter ride. #10 - Candy Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but let’s face it, all women love chocolate. Wow her with a gourmet chocolate assortment like Godiva Gold Gourmet Chocolate Gift Basket
or Homemade Gourmet Chocolate Candy Bars. The main thing to remember about giving a gift that makes a lasting impression on the woman you love, is the thought. The special woman in your life will be happy as long as
she knows you put some thought into choosing the gift and that it comes from the heart. Use this list of top ten Valentines Day gifts for ideas and you’ll soon find the perfect gift for that perfect woman in your life.

You will be bidding on a lien, not on the property itself. Placing the highest bid at a trustee auction does not automatically entitle you to free and clear ownership of the property. You should also be aware that the lien being auctioned off may be a junior lien. If you are the highest bidder at the auction, you are or may be responsible for paying off all liens senior to the lien being auctioned off, before you can receive clear title to the property. insurance company, either of which may charge you a fee for this information. If you consult either of these resources, you should be aware that the same lender may hold more than one mortgage or deed of trust on the property. My husband and i had the most wonderful experience working with Amy. in the past 2 years we have worked with three realtors, none of which were as professional or insightful as Amy. She clearly understood our housing market and understood how to price our home so that not only would we make money, but it would sell quickly as we were in escrow on another home prior to listing our home. Within two days of listing our home- we had a full price offer. We have met and worked with several realtors and have often felt like one of many- we are not provided updates, status, ect. and it is darn near impossible to reach them. Amy never once made us feel like a number, but we always felt like her priority. We never once had to follow up with her to find out how a showing went, status on escrow, ect. she kept us informed every step of the way which was greatly appreciated and credits her professionalism. Amy is also without a doubt one of the warmest individuals we have ever had the privilege of working with. i will refer her to all our friends and family and i can confidently say we will never work with another realtor. thank you, Amy!!
