CONNECTING OLD AND NEW
WE WANTED TO IMPLEMENT A MODERN DESIGN WHILE RESPECTING THE EXISTING SPACE SO WE INTEGRATED THE OLD AND THE NEW BY ESSENTIALLY INSERTING THE NEW WALLS INTO THE OLD. THE TWO DO NOT ACTUALLY TOUCH BUT ARE SIMPLY CONNECTED BY A PLANE OF GLASS, RESPECTING THE CURRENT HISTOCIAL STRUCTURE.
USING GRID AS A DESIGN GUIDE
WE UTILIZED THE EXISTING, REPEATING PATTERN OF WINDOWS TO CREATE A GRID TO GUIDE OUR DESIGN

FINAL NOTE
Throughout this studio, we were pushed to explore various non-traditional pedagogies and issues with the existing educational system. As a result, we were able to establish our own, unique pedagogy that forced us to become critical thinkers and improved our design. We thank you for the challenging semester that allowed us to grow as individuals and ultimately better designers.
THANK YOU
