ARCHITECTURE REPORT Observations / Remarks

1 General •The site is located in Mohd Umar Rajjab road, Champa compound. •The Assembly Hall is on the Ground floor of the School.

2 Assemb ly hall

•There is one entry from the stage to the hall. •On west side of the hall there is window and wall. •On east side there is only column and no wall. •Assembly hall is 300mm below the Ground floor.

3 Stage •Stage is on the level of ground floor. •Stage is on the south side of the school.

SUMMARY FOR ASSEMBLY HALL

• No walls between the passage and assembly hall. • No Acoustic treatment on walls and ceiling. • There is flutter and Noise coming from the passage.

1) R.C.C Components •Beams show major distress and sagging of beams is observed. •Cracks are developed in beams and columns. •Slab reinforcement is visible in assembly hall.

2) External and

Internal plaster and paintings

•There is no acoustic treatment in walls and ceiling. •Plaster has been chipped off on the walls in some places. •Walls have developed cracks. •Ceiling plaster has been damaged in the assembly hall.

3) Door and windows •Door hinges are damaged. •Window are in good condition. •Good light and ventilation in assembly hall. •Louvered windows of the toilet are in extremely bad shape and needs to be replaced.
