I have spent the last few years studying the arts and I am in a continuous learning process. I am passionate about information theory and everything related to explain the universe in which we live. The objective was to provide to the administration advice on the planning of public spaces and the industrial ruins in the area. The workshop ended with concrete proposals for different points of the city and mountain ‘’Dealul Minei’’.

This year, the workshop had a practical aspect, participants had the opportunity to implement their projects and work directly with local craftsmen and materials.

2013

Administration of the city was our main contributor, the teams have studied the term of 'urban regeneration' in the context of the post-industrial city and completed two projects:

Reghin, Romania

/single family residence Reghin is the city where I spent part of my childhood and I was very happy to know that my family wants to build a house in the historic area of it. Located in the middle of Transylvania, Reghin is an ancient city called Regen Saxon S채chsische in the thirteenth century. Located on the Mures River the city was developed through the timber trade. The site is located on a sloping street in the historical center of the city, in the vicinity of old saxon houses.

/city atmosphere -the main objective of the project was to integrate into the existing urban context and adapt to the slope of the land.

CENTRE MULTIFONCTIONNEL /Mine Baia Sprie Historically attested since 1329 Baia Sprie has its historical roots in the rich mineral of volcanic mountains -gold, silver, copper. With a population of 16,500 inhabitants Baia Sprie area remained an underdeveloped region due the stop of mining began in 1997. The new context has led, to the administrative level, the adoption of strategies of economic rehabilitation. -in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries miners descended in galleries, using a leather apron, place te of work is lit with a lamp burning canola oil. -in 1575, there is a regulation on Baia Sprie, the work of the day was set at 10 hours for workers at galleries and 11 hours for the pestle stamps workers. x

-in the eighteenth appear the first forms of capitalist production, while the first changes occurring in mining technology. -the nationalization in 1948 also affected the mining sector. Baia Sprie Mine became the property of the State. During the communist period the mines were used as places of detention for those who resisted the regime.

1.in the city’s strategic plan are scheduled leisure activities on the former mine site. 2.the associations in the region are proposing the establishment of a geopark witch includes all mines in the county, with the center in Baia Sprie. 3.in 2009 a group of students began to study the area and organize creative workshops during the holidays, now the group is organized in a association. 4.the orientation to the development of tourism in the region. 5.the community must have a cultural identity

WORKSHOP BAIA SPRIE

This year, the workshop had a practical aspect, participants had the opportunity to implement their projects and work directly with materials and local craftsmen.

/team: Alexandru Mociran, Edmund Futo, Hanna Nistor, Ruxandra Moldovan, Valentin Metes Building the team Workshop Baia Sprie is a process that took place over several years, starting in 2009, when the city’s architect Edmund Futo with a group of students organized the first edition of the workshop to study the tehnlogical paths and the ruins left by the mining facilities. All the coordinators, participants, sponsors, community volunteers contributed to the development of the annual summer school in Baia Sprie.
