“Further Postage Dues” was the title of the display presented to members at the March meeting - in itself, not that inspiring! However, Peter Watts’ infectious enthusiasm for his subject led to a most interesting and enjoyable evening He has a huge collection and shared with us the history of GB Postage Dues (are these labels or stamps?) from when they started to be used in 1914, until they were replaced by yellow labels or a card through the door instructing the recipient to go to the Post Office and pay to claim the item

Other countries used Postage Dues from the mid to late 19th century He also showed us examples from countries with names from A to Z, excluding only X Peter ’s particular fascination lies with untangling the stories of

What can laser skin rejuvenation do for me?

Laser skin rejuvenation is a cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated beams of light to improve the appearance of the skin The specific benefits of laser skin rejuvenation can vary depending on the type of laser used and the individual patient's skin concerns, but some potential benefits include:

● Reducing wrinkles and fine lines: Laser skin rejuvenation can stimulate collagen production, which can help smooth out wrinkles and fine lines.

● Improving skin texture and tone: By removing the outer layer of skin, laser skin rejuvenation can help reduce the appearance of scars, sun damage, and uneven skin tone

● Tightening loose skin: Some laser treatments can help tighten loose skin by stimulating collagen production and promoting skin cell turnover

● Minimizing pores: Laser skin rejuvenation can help minimize the appearance of large pores by removing the outer layer of skin and promoting collagen production

● Treating acne scars: Laser treatments can help reduce the appearance of acne scars by promoting collagen production and smoothing out the texture of the skin

It's important to note that laser skin rejuvenation is a cosmetic procedure and may not be suitable for everyone. It's important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional to determine if laser skin rejuvenation is right for you and to discuss any potential risks or side effects

In No 313, Black might say “Yes, you can promote your advanced Pawn and mate quickly, but just for fun I challenge you to do it moving just your King Actually, I calculate that you can do it in eighteen moves, by forcing me to capture your a-Pawn and then capturing mine to clear the a-file for a discovered mate from your Rook ”

This time, I offer a small prize for the first correct solution received by timed e-mail (lestershaw7@gmail com) or dropped through my front door (16 Lime Grove, Sheringham, NR26 8NX) So, friends, to your chessboards! Difficulty 2
