UNFOLDING
Step 1 Unfolding the handlebars •Standing on the left side of the bike, raise the handlebars till both latches snap closed (pic. 1).
1
• Check the latches (pic. 2). • Securely fasten handlebars with the plastic safety fastener (pic. 3).
2
IMPORTANT If the handlebars are not fastened properly, do not attempt to ride the bike.
3
Step 2 Unfolding the front wheel • While holding both handlebars put your foot on the front wheel hub and push the wheel out from the frame (pic. 4) till the front wheel latch locks (pic. 5).
4
• Then turn the handlebars 180° clockwise (pic. 6).
5
IMPORTANT Make sure the front wheel is properly locked. If the front wheel lock is damaged or not locked properly don’t ride the bike!
6
UNFOLDING
Step 3 Unfolding the rear wheel • While holding the handlebar with your left hand, release the rear-wheel lock with your right hand, and pull it upwards with a firm
7
thrust directly towards the safety cover (pic. 7) till it clicks safely into place (pic. 8).
8
IMPORTANT Make sure the safety cover and the frame hooks are properly connected. They should be aligned and there should be no free space between the two of them. If the safety cover is damaged or you’re not able to do this, do not attempt to ride the bike!
Step 4 Setting up the seat and pedals • Extend the seat (no further than where the seat post is marked MIN INSERT) and tighten the seat fastener. Make sure it’s pointing directly down towards the
seat cover clamp, keeping the safety cover in place (pic. 9). • Open the pedals to their riding position.
IMPORTANT Make sure that the saddle fastener is properly tightened and reaching the red line on the safety cover. Otherwise do not ride the bike! 9
IMPORTANT If your seat post projects from the frame beyond MIN INSERT, it can be dangerous to the rider. If it is too small for you, longer posts are available from most bike shops. Your bike should now be properly unfolded and ready to ride.

on the safety cover under the seat • The rear part of the frame folds in with a gentle thrust of the rear wheel against the floor (pic. 2).
2
• Holding both handlebars pull the bike back towards you, till the rear-wheel lock clips onto the frame (pic. 3).
3
Step 2 Folding the front wheel • Turn the handlebars 180° counter-clockwise (pic. 4), and release the front wheel latch (pic. 5). • Push the front wheel between the frame’s two
4
tubes, so that it stays in place (pic. 6).
IMPORTANT Make sure that the screw on the inside of the downtube
5
holds the wheel inside the frame. If it doesn’t, take the wheel out again and loosen the screw, then try again until it’s tight against the wheel.
6
FOLDING
Step 3 Folding the handlebars • Open the plastic safety fastener by squeezing the notched areas (pic. 7) and pulling it free with your forefinger.
7
• Lift the handlebar latches (pic. 8) and fold them into the empty space of the frame (pic. 9).
8
9
