Meanwhile the Richard Burton Company perform a season where women are placed centre stage and facing the most severe of tests. Puppetry features strongly with the return of the popular Little Angel Theatre. Our own puppeteers perform Just Add Water, this year set in the College’s grounds and the Bute Theatre. Llŷr Williams completes the first year of his extraordinarily successful Beethoven Sonata Cycle, performed to sold out houses and rave notices – be sure to book ahead for his just announced 2015/16 dates. And our Summer Festivals return: Atmospheres, the new music festival-in-a-day and the Amser Jazz Weekender with a terrific line-up of both established and emerging jazz talent including John Taylor and Darius Brubeck.

Our season is once more dominated by a wide ranging celebration of the voice that will see us welcome the outstanding German soprano Christiane Karg together with early music specialists Arcangelo. June will also witness our hosting the Song Prize for BBC Cardiff Singer of the World, whilst our own singers perform in Cardiff Singer Fringe concerts and our new production of Janáček’s bubbling The Cunning Little Vixen opens at Sherman Cymru.

Experience the thrill of the Seven Seas and the mysteries of the Deep this summer with the fabulous Puppeteers of the Royal Welsh College. At the Museum of the Drowned World every exhibit has a salty sea-tale to share and you’re invited to set sail with us on a fantastical secret journey through oceans of time and imagination. The Picture of Dorian Gray Presented by European Arts Company Set in the decadent world of Victorian London, a beautiful young man called Dorian Gray becomes infatuated by a portrait of himself. He makes a Faustian pact that he will remain forever young while the picture grows old. Combining drawing-room comedy and gothic horror. Written with Merlin Holland (Wilde’s only grandson) and presented by the same team behind last year’s The Trials of Oscar Wilde.

From the Cradle to the bin is a hilarious bouffon comedy that follows Mr Whitey, an affable English gent, who will spend his final days living on the edge of a broken care system. We meet inept carers, sneering owners, money hungry family members and a whole host of others who are sure to make Mr. Whitey’s final day a memorable one.

It is followed by one of the best loved symphonies in the entire period of Classical music.

We’re delighted to offer an exciting range of summer schools in music and drama for 2015, from short taster sessions to intensive week-long courses, all delivered by industry professionals. As one of the UK’s leading music and drama schools, we can offer you outstanding levels of teaching in a safe and friendly environment.

Acting Courses for ages 12-20 The Young Actors Studio delivers high quality acting courses every Sunday in Cardiff, and every Saturday in Pembrokeshire during term time. Parking spaces at the college are restricted to blue badge holders only. These spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. These spaces cannot be reserved. There is pay and display car park immediately next to the college. There is also further parking a short walk away at the civic centre opposite the college. Please note RWCMD has no authority over these car parks.

We are joining Hynt! We are making this change because we believe that Hynt will be of huge benefit to our customers.

Hynt is a resource for anyone interested in information or news around access and the arts.

Hynt will enable you to access performances and activities across a range of venues in Wales by being part of one national scheme. Visit www. hynt.co.uk to learn more about the scheme and see if you are eligible to apply to become a Hynt Card Member.

The site features listings of all accessible performances as well as providing up to date venue information to help you plan your visit.

Hynt is a Membership Card Gift Vouchers Everyone enjoys a great night out, which makes our Gift Vouchers the perfect present for family and friends. Available in any denomination, ask the Box Office for further information.

Hynt cardholders are entitled to a ticket free of charge for a personal assistant or carer at all the theatres and arts centres participating in the scheme.

Remember, the move to Hynt will be a gradual process. You have until 1 September 2015 to complete your application form and receive your card. What is Hynt?

Hynt is a Resource

We are joining Hynt! We are making this change because we believe that Hynt will be of huge benefit to our customers.

Hynt is a resource for anyone interested in information or news around access and the arts.

Hynt will enable you to access performances and activities across a range of venues in Wales by being part of one national scheme. Visit www. hynt.co.uk to learn more about the scheme and see if you are eligible to apply to become a Hynt Card Member.

The site features listings of all accessible performances as well as providing up to date venue information to help you plan your visit.

Hynt is a Membership Card Gift Vouchers Everyone enjoys a great night out, which makes our Gift Vouchers the perfect present for family and friends. Available in any denomination, ask the Box Office for further information.

Hynt cardholders are entitled to a ticket free of charge for a personal assistant or carer at all the theatres and arts centres participating in the scheme.

Remember, the move to Hynt will be a gradual process. You have until 1 September 2015 to complete your application form and receive your card. We will do everything we can to make the switch to Hynt as simple as possible. On performance evenings the Box Office will remain open up to 30 minutes after the start of the last performance. If there is a performance on Saturday or Sunday, the Box Office will open 2 hours prior to the start of that performance. The Box Office is situated in the main foyer.
