Becky and Colin’s Wedding Map
for Weekend Adventuring around Colrain, MA
A steep trail from this pull-off leads to a section of the Green River with an unusually deep swimming hole. Local artists have landscaped the area using the smooth river stones to create shallow pools and sitting areas.

At the confluence of the North River and Deerfield River. This is a popular swimming spot, with smooth dark rocks for sunbathing and potholes to explore. Park on the north side of North River Road, but not in front of the house or the barn. Cross the road and walk across the meadow down to the Deerfield River.

charming village on the Deerfield River. It is known for the Bridge of Flowers, a suspended arboretum along a former railroad bridge; and the Potholes, cylindrical holes bored into the bedrock of the river by millenium of rushing water. The very walkable town also offers fantastic restaurants and galleries.
