Humor has bailed me out of more tight situations than I can think of. If you go with your instincts and keep your humor, creativity follows. With luck, success comes, too.

BIG FOUR PARK JEFFERSONVILLE, IN The mission of this project was to analyze the site of Jeffersonville Indiana along the Ohio River and apply findings from past projects, design literature, and examples of contemporary design trends to create an urban waterfront park that can increase the quality of recreational opportunities for the residents and visitors of the area. This urban park was designed with connections to Indiana’s riverbank, and also to the existing pedestrian bridge that connects the site directly to Waterfront Park in neighboring Louisville, Kentucky. This project creates multiple types of spaces to experience within close proximity of two large urban destinations. LANDING PLAZA AND PARK

MONUMENT CIRCLE PLAN
The Monument Circle Idea Competition was held to generate new and innovative ideas for the future redevelopment of the Monument Circle area in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. This area currently sits as a historic memorial, with a dilapidated street condition circumscribing it. This design was completed to revitalize Monument Circle as an inviting and bustling space for pedestrians that come to find a unique space where vegetation and a new, clean, and efficient urban landscape blend together in the heart of a growing city center. BIG LAKE, AK Jordan Lake Park is currently responding to increases in population, development, and overall growth in the Big Lake area. This growth is leading to increased use of Jordan Lake Park. The current park allows patrons to access only a small portion of the entire park. The first phase of developing the park has already begun with the design and construction of a parking lot for patrons. There will be an initial phase of trail expansions that offer access to the majority of the park located on the east side of Jordan Lake. This initial expansion of trails will create access to areas such as additional overlooks, a loop trail, and a system of boardwalks. WETLAND BOARDWALK

PUBLIC LIBRARY TALKEETNA, AK Talkeetna, Alaska is a small tourist town that offers a quirky downtown feel. The public library will be a development that would fit the rustic feel of Alaska rather than the quirkyness of the nearby downtown. The plan for the building landscape was designed to take the abuse of large amounts of roof runoff and withstand long winters of snow coverage and low light conditions. The native landscape hugs and grounds the rustic building. The native vegetation provides the necessary drainage functions in the winter and spring, and bursts with a variety of textures and colors in the summer and fall. REAR BUILDING LANDSCAPE

MILE 2 DOUGLAS JUNEAU, AK Douglas Island is located directly west of downtown Juneau, Alaska. This island is where a small plot of hillside land is to be developed into a small living community. The conceptual design for this community is geared towards small efficient living spaces that perform with ultra high levels of efficiency, while also providing luxurious views and access to the beautiful natural landscape that southeast Alaska provides.
